It’s no secret that the majority of Americans are breathing a sigh of relief now that Nancy Pelosi is no longer Speaker of the House.
But few have grasped just how unpopular the Congresswoman is with her own Democrat base.
And now Nancy Pelosi was left speechless after these radical left-wing hecklers called her three words.
Poor Nancy
At 82-years-old, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) finally decided to take a step back from “leadership” after Republicans took back the House in the 2022 Midterms.
Pelosi handed control of House Democrats over to new Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).
Of course, that doesn’t mean she’s taken a step back from constantly seeking the media’s attention.
Pelosi recently joined New York Times “economist” Paul Krugman for an event at The City University of New York’s Graduate Center.
But things didn’t exactly go the way Pelosi expected.
Rather than doing her typical song and dance of dodging Krugman’s softball questions by regurgitating Democrat talking points, the Congresswoman found herself dodging attacks lobbed at her by hecklers from her own Party.
In fact, on four separate occasions throughout the event, Pelosi was hit with attack after attack for her war hawk foreign policy positions and immense corruption allegations.
One heckler in particular even suggested that the former Speaker of the House belongs “in the depths of hell.”
“You know Pelosi, that’s a very good place for you – in the depths of hell,” the heckler yelled while being removed from the event. “For some reason, you have a very bad obsession with getting us into war. Hey, why is it that you did not admit that there were no WMDs in Iraq?”
“You lied us into a war in Iraq,” the heckler added. “You got us to invade Afghanistan. Now over 90% of those people are impoverished and are dying. Why don’t you tell the truth about Nord Stream?”
Nord Stream, of course, refers to the network of offshore pipelines running from Russia to Germany under the Baltic Sea that provide virtually all of Western Europe’s natural gas.
The pipeline was blown up last year in an apparent act of sabotage.
That led to increased tensions when the United States, Ukraine, and NATO blamed Russia for the explosion even though no evidence linking them to the explosion has been found and the pipeline served as one of the rogue nation’s few economic lifelines amidst heavy sanctions.
These realities have led many to believe the explosion was an act of propaganda to galvanize the world against Russia.
“Why did we destroy Nord Stream?” the heckler shouted once more. “You’re leaving millions of Germans without energy. People like you should be arrested, you are a war criminal!”
Hitting where it hurts
Throughout the event, a primary theme of the hecklers’ attacks was the fact that Pelosi’s support for the failed foreign policy of endless global wars makes her a “war criminal.”
But while each of the three hecklers who came before him were escorted out by security, the final heckler of the evening really hit the Democrat Congresswoman where it hurts.
As security dragged one of his cohorts out of the event, the man stood up and chastised Pelosi by saying he came to the event to see a “warmonger,” but found out that she’s just “a sad old drunk.”
“Hey Congresswoman, I came to see a warmonger, but you’re a sad old drunk!” the final heckler shouted. “What happened? When you went to Taiwan, were you looking for Ukraine? Did we blow up the Nord Stream on accident or on purpose? Did you know about that?”
“You’re a war criminal by definition Ms. Pelosi,” he added. “You got some nerve.”
On the bright side for Pelosi, the heckler was polite and respectful enough to refer to her as “Ms. Pelosi” – albeit right before really driving his point home by pointing out the amount of blood on her hands.
“You go*dam war criminal!” the heckler concluded. “How many people have died in your f*cking name?”
Needless to say, Nancy Pelosi was left speechless.
