Donald Trump’s 2016 victory completely changed the way that many political experts view American politics.

For the first time in recent memory, a Republican candidate successfully mobilized voters in the Democratic strongholds of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

And now Nancy Pelosi was paralyzed with shock after this star musician put her in her place.

This music legend just dropped a truth bomb on Nancy Pelosi and her cronies

Few Americans, especially those on the Left, predicted Donald Trump’s major victory in 2016.

Unlike previous Republican Presidential candidates, Donald Trump successfully mobilized blue-collar voters in “rust belt states” like Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Leftists in Washington, D.C. and in the corporate-controlled media have chalked this victory up to a number of factors, including populism and “Russian interference.”

Although the conspiracy theories about Russian interference have since been debunked, many still claim that populist fervor helped to elect Trump, often using the term “populism” as a curse word.

Winston Marshall, a former member of the hit band Mumford and Sons, set the record straight on populism during a debate at Oxford Union last month.

While speaking at the prestigious English University, Marshall claimed that “this house believes populism is a threat to democracy,” before adding that “‘populism’ has become a word used synonymously with ‘racist.’ We’ve heard ‘ethno-nationalist,’ we have ‘bigot,’ we have ‘hillbilly,’ ‘redneck,’ we have ‘deplorable.’”

Marshall pointed to some of Nancy Pelosi’s recent claims where she said that Trump successfully used populism, courting “poor souls” who turned to him due to their positions on “guns, gays, [and] God.”

Then came the topic of the January 6 protests, which Nancy Pelosi and her cronies deemed as the gravest threat to American democracy in our lifetime.

Pelosi and many other Democrats and so-called moderate Republicans have ruthlessly attacked anyone who participated in these protests while threatening to throw Donald Trump in jail for his alleged participation.

Marshall addressed these claims by pointing at the violent left-wing riots.
“I’m sure Congresswoman Pelosi will agree that the entire month of June 2020, when the federal courthouse in Portland, Oregon, was under siege and under insurrection by radical progressives, those, too, were dark days for America,” he said.

He then turned the focus to former President Barack Obama and pointed out how nobody seemed to care when he won using populist fervor.

“If anything, Obama argued that he was a populist,” he said. “If anything, Obama argued that Bernie was the populist.”

“Something curious happens. If you watch Obama’s speeches after that point, more and more recently, he uses the word ‘populist’ interchangeably with ‘strong man,’ ‘authoritarian.’ The word changes meaning. It becomes a negative, a pejorative, a slur,” the prolific musician charged.

Winston Marshall just said what many Americans have been thinking for a long time

Polls show that Donald Trump has a major edge in the key swing states of Ohio, Arizona, and Nevada.

Even more damaging for Joe Biden is that some polls show his approval rating in the mid-30s, which means that the vast majority of Americans do not approve of his performance in the White House.

Of course, there is still plenty of time until November.

However, no one can truthfully deny that Donald Trump has become a formidable political force.
