Former South Carolina RINO Governor Nikki Haley tried to pretend she was a Trump supporter throughout her Presidential campaign.
But Haley is starting to show her true colors.
And Nikki Haley attacked Donald Trump for this jaw-dropping reason.
During the third GOP Presidential debate in Miami, the left-wing moderators from NBC gave all the candidates on stage a chance to bash Donald Trump.
Trump skipped the debate because polls show him up by 45 points nationally and over 30 points in the key early voting states of Iowa and New Hampshire.
The opening question to candidates was why they would be a better nominee than Donald Trump.
Governor Ron DeSantis used the question to essentially call Trump a loser and claimed his record in Florida made him the best candidate to win.
Vivek Ramaswamy demanded Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel resign over repeated election failures on her watch as well as the decision to allow left-wing activists from NBC to moderate the debate.
Nikki Haley didn’t even pretend to lean into a conservative case for herself.
Instead, Haley went full globalist and claimed Trump was unfit for office because he thought securing America’s border was more important than fighting a war with Russia over Ukraine’s border.
“Everybody wants to talk about President Trump. Well, I can talk about President Trump. I can tell you that I think he was the right President at the right time. I don’t think he’s the right President now,” Haley stated.
“I think the fact that he used to be right on Ukraine and foreign issues, now he’s getting weak in the knees and trying to be friendly again,” Haley declared.
“I think that we’ve got to go back to the fact that we can’t live in the past. We can’t live in other headlines. We’ve got to start focusing on what’s going to make America strong and proud. And that’s what I’m focused on doing,” Haley concluded.
Haley’s claim that the Republican Party can’t look back to the past is why her poll numbers sit in the single digits nationally and far behind Trump in Iowa and New Hampshire.
Ever since she entered the race, Haley championed the war in Ukraine, opposed efforts by Red states to fight back against woke corporations, and essentially called for a truce on social issues like abortion.
Haley’s platform is straight out of the John McCain/Mitt Romney era of the GOP.
But Republican voters are rejecting her nostalgia for the GOP that served as the Washington Generals to Barack Obama and the Democrats.
