The Hunter Biden scandal took a turn for the worse.
There is no escaping a serious truth about Joe Biden’s misconduct.
And one Democrat slipped up and implicated Joe Biden in this damning lie.
Ever since Joe Biden ran for President in 2019, he has repeated the falsehood that he never discussed business with his son Hunter.
Common sense and all available evidence told Americans that this was not true.
And now an unlikely source just confirmed that Biden was not being honest with the American people.
Two IRS whistleblowers testified before the House Oversight Committee and detailed their allegations that the Justice Department thwarted efforts to charge Hunter Biden with serious felonies and also prevented the agents on the case from pursuing leads that could land the President in legal and political trouble.
One of the bombshell moments came when Democrat Congressman Daniel Goldman questioned whistleblower Gary Shapley about a 2017 WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to an official with CEFC, an energy company tied to the Chinese Communist Party, where he warned that unless the official paid him the money he wanted, then he would involve his father in the matter.
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled. Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight. And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my direction. I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father,” Hunter Biden wrote.
Goldman walked into a trap of his own making by asking Shapley about the conversation and claiming that it showed Joe Biden was not involved in his son’s business deals.
“Now, let me ask you something,” Goldman stated. “That doesn’t sound much like Joe Biden was involved in whatever Hunter Biden was doing with the CEFC — if Hunter Biden is telling him that he’s ‘trying’ to do business with them, does it?”
But Shapley pointed out that the message showed Joe Biden talked business with Hunter, which undercut his claim of never broaching the subject with his son.
“No,” Shapley answered. “But it does show that he told his father he was trying to do business, and he was talking to his father about the business.”
Goldman then inexplicably conceded that Shapley was telling the truth.
“That is true,” Goldman admitted. “Hunter Biden has tried to do business. That’s correct”

This hearing was a disaster on multiple levels for Joe Biden and the Democrats.
And a top Biden ally accidentally confirming one of the key charges against him was just one of those low lights.
