People who are part of the woke left always seem to be disconnected from reality.

In some cases, those people are so vocal that they start to develop a group of devoted followers who believe anything they say.

But now, one woke author is facing some serious allegations that could derail the bleeding-heart image she’s worked so hard to portray.

White Fragility author faces plagiarism allegations

Robin DiAngelo is an author and an “anti-racism consultant” who gained fame after promoting her book, White Fragility.

DiAngelo has a history of slamming white people and accusing them of bigotry on the national stage after countless liberal media outlets gave her a platform.

But now, the author is being accused of stealing the work of two Asian American scholars in her doctoral thesis from 2004 entitled Whiteness in Racial Dialogue: A Discourse Analysis.

The allegations come from a complaint filed with the University of Washington and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Approximately 20 examples of alleged plagiarism were uncovered, including two paragraphs that were almost completely copied from Asian-American Thomas Nakayama from Northeastern University and coauthor Robert Krizek.

According to the allegations, DiAngelo failed to provide adequate attribution to their work.

She’s also being accused of doing something similar with another paragraph originally written by Asian-American professor Stacey Lee of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Instead of noting that Lee summarized work from scholar David Theo Goldberg, DiAngelo presented it as if she had provided the summary all on her own.

Peter Wood, President of the National Association of Scholars, said that doing so is likened to “forgery” in academic circles.

“It is never appropriate to use the secondary source without acknowledging it, and even worse to present it as one’s own words. That’s plagiarism,” he said.

The irony is that DiAngelo has an “accountability statement” on her own website, where she goes into detail about how she holds herself accountable regarding her business and personal interactions and dealings with people of color.

Part of the statement reads, “Always cite and give credit to the work of BIPOC [black, indigenous, and people of color] people who have informed your thinking.”

The hypocrisy is staggering

People like Robin DiAngelo spend their entire lives demonizing white people and pandering to people of color.

Her website also instructs, “When you use a phrase or idea you got from a BIPOC person, credit them.”

Yet these allegations clearly demonstrate that she isn’t following her own instructions.

As a doctor with a PhD in multicultural education, DiAngelo has used her title to help promote her book.

She receives large sums of money for speaking engagements and seminars where some attendees pay up to $40,000 per person just to listen to her spew insults about how racist they are toward “BIPOC people.”

DiAngelo claims that she coined the term “white fragility” in an academic article from 2011.

While the allegations against her are just allegations for now, it looks like her status as the ultimate woke spokesperson is in danger.

Do you think Robin DiAngelo is a hypocrite after these allegations have come to light?
