Ron DeSantis explains how he won and why voters will go to all lengths to support Republicans in Florida

Governor Ron DeSantis swept the Florida general election this year beating his Democrat rival by nearly 20 percentage points.

Republican leaders and political pundits have been trying to figure out how he did so well for the past two weeks.

Now DeSantis has explained that the key to his victory was addressing this key issue for Florida voters and all Americans feel the same way.

Ron DeSantis talks about the “true Republican landslide” that happened on November 8

Ron DeSantis recently spoke at a conference in Las Vegas where he discussed the “true Republican landslide” that happened in Florida.

He talked about turning the state legislature of a former swing state to deep red.

“We secured supermajorities in the Florida legislature—the most Republicans we have ever had in Florida’s history.” Adding excitedly, “we won, by double digits, Miami-Dade County!”

DeSantis explained their winnings are going to make a difference at the federal level too, stating “we added four new Republican Congressmen to the U.S. House of Representatives from the state of Florida.”

He then went on to explain how his campaign worked and laid out a “blueprint” for future Republican successes.

Leaders shouldn’t follow public opinion but rather “set out a vision” and “execute that vision”

DeSantis explained that a leader can’t just “stick your finger in the wind and try to contort yourself to wherever public opinion may be trending at any given point.”

He said that a leader must “set out a vision” and then “execute that vision.”

DeSantis said that if a leader can successfully show the people that “it’s the right vision” and that it will deliver results then “the people respond.”

He compared his state to that of New York.

It has a massive budget that supports much less people.

In fact, New York has “over twice the size of the budget in Florida.”

DeSantis explains that New York says they spend more money on things like roads and education.

But the people coming to Florida are telling a different story.

Their perception is that everything is better in Florida.

He went onto discuss one of the biggest issues today and that is indoctrination in the school system.

DeSantis credits his election win to this war on “woke ideology”

DeSantis says that Florida chooses to focus on “education over indoctrination”

He attributes a large amount of his votes on November 8 to his war on “woke ideology.”

He has gone head-to-head with the education system, corporations, and nonprofits to fight this fight.

He said that the most important thing to the people is “strong leadership” and when you give them a solid vision coupled with strong leadership you get support from the public.

DeSantis says that “when you stand up for what’s right, when you show people you’re willing to fight for them, they will walk over broken glass barefoot to come vote for you.”

He says “that’s exactly what they did for me on November 8 in record numbers.”

Now it’s time to see how many Republicans take note of this.

America needs more fighters like Ron DeSantis.
