Ron DeSantis is debunking the Biden Administration’s latest gaslighting attempts

When Democrats are called out for their failed policies, they just deny it’s their fault, change history, and blame Republicans.

And they often get away with it because the complicit corporate-controlled media acts as the public-relations agency for the Democrat Party.

But now Ron DeSantis is raking President Joe Biden and his Press Secretary over the coals for this whopper of a lie they’re telling Americans.

Changing the history books

Polling shows voters are concerned about the Biden economy.

So, what dis Democrats do?

Change the definition of recession.

That is just one example of a long list of times the Biden Administration has tried to play a Jedi mind trick on the American public and make them believe something that simply isn’t true.

The term for this tactic is, “gaslighting.”

And the gaslighting has been virtually unending throughout President Joe Biden’s time in office.

But Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis isn’t letting him get away with it.

Even the Left now is admitting what the Right had been saying all along – unnecessary school closures during the COVID-19 pandemic were hurting students.

We’re still figuring out just how much damage masking kids and keeping them home from school for two years did to students’ social development.

Many reports are finding pandemic restrictions took a negative toll on young children’s verbal skills, as well.

And now even The New York Times is reporting Democrat pandemic policies wiped out two-decades of academic progress.

And according to President Biden, it’s all Donald Trump’s fault.

“Let’s step back to where we were, not too long ago, when this President stepped into this administration,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. “How mismanaged . . . the response to the pandemic was. Our schools went from 46% open to nearly all of them being opened to full time. That was the work of this President. That was the work of Democrats.”

Governor DeSantis calls out President Biden’s lies

KJP makes a compelling case, except if we check the history books, it’s the exact opposite of what really happened.

You can see a timeline of Democrats pushing to keep school lockdowns in place in the Twitter thread above – and those are just a small sample.

It was teachers unions and their pals in the Democrat Party, including President Biden, who were advocating to keep schools shut down.

The 46% of schools that she mentions being open, were mostly in states with Republican Governors – states like Florida.

When America’s Governor reopened schools in the Sunshine State, nanny-state Democrats attacked him relentlessly.

But DeSantis stood his ground.

And now he’s correcting the record.

“They’re now saying how bad it was,” DeSantis said during a press conference. “No one could have foreseen the destructiveness of these lengthy school closures. Yeah, we foresaw it. That’s why we didn’t do it.”

DeSantis went on to add that it was not the pandemic that caused problems for students, but the shutdown and the mandates.

Along with objecting to reopening schools, Democrats went after DeSantis when he refused to mandate masks.

And of course, it wasn’t just the schools.

The Biden Administration championed lockdowns for businesses as well.

And when some Red State Governors like DeSantis objected, Biden told them to “get out of the way” of the lockdowns.

“Joe Biden suggests that if you don’t do lockdown policies then you should ‘get out of the way,’” DeSantis said at the time. “Let me tell you this, if you’re coming after the rights of parents in Florida — I’m standing in your way. I’m not going to let you get away with it.”

President Biden and KJP are once again wishing DeSantis get out of the way and let them continue gaslighting American voters.

Who handled the COVID pandemic better?
