Ron DeSantis has been such a strong and successful leader that many in the GOP are calling for him to run for President in 2024.
However, Democrats and establishment Republicans are concerned about a potential DeSantis candidacy.
But Ron DeSantis just showed up Joe Biden and Mitch McConnell in a single sentence.
Ron to the rescue?
Ron DeSantis has combined a bold policy agenda and willingness to take on both woke corporations and Big Media to make him a rising star in the GOP and a top enemy of the Left.
From scoring victories for parents and students in Sunshine State schools to defeating Disney to exposing Anthony Fauci as a fraud, the Florida Governor continues to build momentum.
Last year, DeSantis won his re-election campaign by 19.5 points – more than 1.5-million votes – against arguably the most competitive candidate Democrats could have put up against him.
DeSantis also had coattails.
Republican Senator Marco Rubio rode his coattails to win what was supposed to be a close race by 16.5 points.
And DeSantis’ fight for a favorable House map in the redistricting process also led to the GOP flipping four Democrat seats.
It’s exactly that type of leadership that has many in the Party hoping he’ll seek a higher office next year.
The question about DeSantis
However, as a Governor without national-political experience, there is one big question about DeSantis.
Where does he stand on foreign affairs and military issues?
Will he be a puppet for the globalists in the vein of the late John McCain or Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell?
Or will he use the military to defend America and only engage when American interests are in grave danger?
No more blank checks
DeSantis just answered those questions and taught both President Joe Biden and Senator McConnell an important lesson at the same time.

DeSantis weighed in on the conflict in eastern Europe for the first time during an interview with Fox News Channel.
President Biden was in Kyiv at the time DeSantis was asked about the White House sending more than $200 million worth of aid to Ukraine.
“They have, effectively, a blank-check policy with no clear strategic objective identified,” DeSantis said. “These things can escalate. I don’t think it’s in our interest to be getting into a proxy war with China getting involved over things like the borderlands, or over Crimea. So, I think it would behoove them to identify what is the strategic objective that they’re trying to achieve. But just saying it’s an open-ended, blank check, that is not acceptable.”
A first look at the DeSantis Doctrine?
DeSantis went on to say that he believes China, not Russia, is the real foreign threat to America.
“Russia has been really, really wounded here and I don’t think that they are the same threat to our country – even though they are hostile,” DeSantis said. “I don’t think they’re on the same level as China.”
China has recently made threats against the United States after the Biden administration waited nearly a week to shoot down a Chinese spy balloon that traversed the country.
The CCP is also saber rattling about invading Taiwan.
Taiwan is a much more strategic ally to the United States than Ukraine, which has a reputation as one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
On Fox & Friends, voters may have got their first glimpse of the DeSantis Doctrine.
