There aren’t many politicians in the Swamp who don’t want to spend more of your hard-earned money.

We all could use a Ron Paul right now to cut federal spending.

And Ron Paul can’t stop smiling after Elon Musk dropped this tweet about the Fed.

More politicians need to care about federal spending

Most people like their representatives enough to vote for them during the General Election.

Just look at the facts.

In 2022, only seven incumbents out of 435 lost the same seat they held prior to the election.

And every single incumbent Senator won their General Election race in the last cycle.

But according to FiveThirtyEight, satisfaction with Congress is at a dismal 19 percent approval rating.

And the dismal Congressional approval rating is because Americans understand that they are getting screwed by Washington, D.C.

Most of the dissatisfaction comes from politicians spending our tax dollars like drunken sailors.

But for us to break this unhealthy unwillingness to accept the fact that our representatives might be the problem, we need people in politics who are willing to challenge the status quo and call a spade a spade.

There has never been a bigger advocate for cutting federal spending than Ron Paul.

While many in the Republican Party made spending tax dollars their top priority, Ron Paul went to Washington, D.C. and made slogans like “End the Fed” a kitchen table talking point.

But Ron Paul has been out of Congress for nearly a decade, and people are now clamoring for someone to fill the void of calling for spending cuts.

Elon Musk = Ron Paul 2.0?

And  those looking for a voice for their concerns about federal spending may finally have their advocate in Elon Musk.

Musk has already proven that he is willing to put his money where his mouth is with actions like buying Twitter.

You will not find another person who has spent and lost as much money to put forward a conservative viewpoint as Elon Musk.

And many would argue that the conservative movement would be a fraction of what it is today if Elon Musk didn’t buy Twitter and protect free speech.

But now Musk should be seen as more than just a billionaire, as he is getting as close to Ron Paul as anyone else on the world wide web.

A debate has been lingering online over the causes of inflation, and Elon Musk just told everyone that our nation’s inflation is directly related to government spending.

And the main way to cut inflation is to cut government spending.

“Inflation is caused by the Federal government spending more than it earns, because they just print more money to make up the difference,” Musk wrote. “To solve inflation, reduce wasteful government spending. Your tax dollars should be spent well, not poorly.”

This type of message from someone with a following like Elon Musk has the potential to change the political landscape.
