Most Americans would agree that the COVID pandemic brought out the worst in people and the worst in the federal government.

But Joe Biden and his cronies are once again sounding the alarm about COVID, with some public policy experts suggesting that a renewed call for pandemic guidelines could be in the near future.

And Senator J.D. Vance just made one pledge that turned Anthony Fauci red with rage.

With the 2024 elections on the horizon, calls for renewed COVID guidance are growing

The COVID pandemic forever changed the way that society and the federal government operates.

In the blink of an eye, millions of Americans were willing to surrender their rights and allow the federal government to assume powers previously unimaginable.

As history has demonstrated time and time again, once you hand power over to the government it is virtually impossible to seize it back.

COVID regulations have largely subsided over the last couple of years, allowing millions of Americans to return to their daily lives.

However, as COVID cases begin to slowly climb, many are calling for regulations to return.

First Lady Jill Biden is recovering from COVID, prompting her supporters to panic and call for more government intervention.

At a press conference, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that “he is not experiencing any symptoms.  As far as the steps that he’s taken since the President was with the First Lady yesterday – he will be masking while indoors and around people in alignment with CDC guidance.”

She added that “the CDC recommended a combination of masking, testing, and monitoring for symptoms. The President is doing all of that, in close consultation with his physician. There are currently no updates to the White House COVID-19 protocols.”

In an effort to combat these mentions of indoor masking, Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio announced that he has a plan to fight back.

Senator Vance announced his plans to introduce the Freedom to Breathe Act.

According to Fox News, the Freedom to Breathe Act would “prevent President Biden and federal agencies from implementing face mask requirements for public transit passengers or students in schools until Dec. 31, 2024.”

In a statement to Fox News digital, Senator Vance said “we tried mask mandates once in this country. They failed to control the spread of respiratory viruses, violated basic bodily freedom, and set our fellow citizens against one another.”

He added that “this legislation will ensure that no federal bureaucracy, no commercial airline, and no public school can impose the misguided policies of the past.  Democrats say they’re not going to bring back mask mandates – we’re going to hold them to their word.”

Although this bill would almost certainly get vetoed by President Joe Biden, it sends a powerful message that Americans will not blindly comply with mask mandates and other restrictions moving forward.
