Joe Biden, Democrats, and their Fake News Media allies are desperate to convince voters that gas prices hitting all-time highs are not a direct result of Biden’s radical agenda.
They just can’t seem to make up their mind about who they’re blaming.
And now Team Biden has once again flip-flopped on who he blames for the Biden gas crisis.
The Left are just throwing excuses at the wall to see what sticks
Despite the Left and Fake News Media’s best efforts, the American people aren’t stupid, and are well aware that gas prices hitting all-time highs didn’t happen in a vacuum.
But that hasn’t stopped Joe Biden or his administration from attempting to convince the American people that the radical left-wing environmental agenda bears zero responsibility for the price at the pump.
Even before Vladimir Putin ordered Russia’s invasion of Ukraine – as gas prices hit roughly $3.50 per gallon, up over a dollar over the previous year – Biden began blaming Putin for all-time high gas prices that didn’t even exist at that point.
“I will not pretend this is going to be painless,” the President said on February 15, before adding that his administration would “deploy all the tools and authority at our disposal to provide relief at the gas pump.”
However, while some Americans seemed to believe Biden at that point, eventually, it became clear that Biden’s “Putin’s Price Hike” excuse wasn’t working.
So Democrats called an audible, and began blaming “greedy” American oil companies.
In fact, the Biden administration actually went back to blaming oil companies in March after trying, but failing, to blame them in November 2021, before anyone even knew Putin was thinking about invading Ukraine.
Oil prices are decreasing, gas prices should too.
Last time oil was $96 a barrel, gas was $3.62 a gallon. Now it’s $4.31.

From there, President Biden and his administration have gone on to produce a laundry list of people to blame and excuses for all-time high gas prices.
They’ve blamed “insurrectionist Republicans,” pandemic-induced supply issues, and a “European energy crisis” – even though it’s the result of a radical left-wing environmental agenda.
They’ve blamed what they called “challenges with increasing production” – which some on the Left have even admitted were simply left-wing policies standing in oil companies’ way – accused oil and gas companies of illegal “price gouging,” and have even claimed it’s all merely the result of America’s “incredible transition” away from fossil fuels under Biden’s radical environmental agenda.
Yes, they’ve pretty much blamed everyone and everything they possibly can rather than actually taking responsibility for putting their obsession with destroying the America we know and love over the well-being of the American people.
And now, they’ve once again flip-flopped on what they blame for the Biden gas crisis.
The latest flip-flop is the same as an old flip-flop
As previously mentioned, the radical Left has been trying to blame American oil companies for the Biden gas price crisis for months before it was even a situation.
And when they’ve been forced to abandon blaming American oil companies, moving instead to everything from “Putin’s Price Hike” to “insurrectionist Republicans,” they always seem to come back to blaming oil companies.
Of course, there’s a reason for that – the radical Left has made it abundantly clear that the ultimate goal of their radical environmental agenda is to destroy American oil companies.
Which is exactly why after all their other excuses failed, the Biden administration has once again gone back to blaming American oil companies for the Biden gas crisis, even going so far as to call on them to be “patriots” while accusing them of once again breaking the law.
“We see it as a patriotic duty,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. “We are calling on them to do the right thing, to be patriots here, and not use the war as an excuse” to price gouge.”
Jean-Pierre’s comments came on the heels of Biden writing a letter to seven U.S. oil refiners in which he called on them to magically increase their production, even though radical left-wing policies have prevented any new oil refineries from being built since 1977.
“The crunch that families are facing deserves immediate action,” Biden wrote. “Your companies need to work with my Administration to bring forward concrete, near-term solutions that address the crisis.”
Biden is right that the crisis American families are facing “deserves immediate action,” but it’s not oil companies who need to act – it’s him and his administration.
They have ushered in the most radical left-wing environmental agenda in American history, and Americans are now paying the price.
And the more Biden and his administration sit on their hands and refuse to take responsibility for the destruction they’ve caused, the more pain American families will experience.
