The Biden administration recently made a disturbing announcement that should have every American fearing for their freedom.
But now Team Trump has started fighting back against Biden’s latest infringement on your freedom.
In the wake of Elon Musk buying Twitter, President Biden has announced the creation of a “Disinformation Governance Board,” or as critics are calling it, “The Ministry of Truth.”
It’s an authoritarian move by President Biden straight out of George Orwell’s book, 1984.
The goal of the new Department of Homeland Security board is to stop speech the State doesn’t approve of.
Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas claims the “Disinformation Governance Board” will counter so-called “misinformation.”
However, as proven time and again with COVID, yesterday’s “misinformation” is today’s fact.
But former President Donald Trump’s team is promising Americans they will stand and fight for your First Amendment rights.
Former Republican Congressman, Devin Nunes is now the Chief Executive Officer for Trump Media and Technology Group says the Truth Social platform will not be intimidated by Biden’s Ministry of Truth.
“We are not going to let this government agency go after your information, go after your data or come after us,” Nunes said in an interview on Real America’s Voice. “This is not going to be tolerated by Truth. We are not going to answer any questions from the Department of Homeland Security looking into our users. Period. Full stop.”
Nunes went on to add moves like this from the Washington, D.C. Swamp is exactly why Truth Social is needed.
Truth Social recently celebrated becoming the number one most downloaded app in the iStore.
Meanwhile, the eldest son of the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump Jr., points out the rules the Disinformation Governance Board adopts are the only problem, but how the rules will be implemented.
“The Department of Homeland Security – a huge organization, militarized, weapons and everything – they’re going to be in charge of what is and what isn’t disinformation,” Don Jr. said. “I have a feeling when you have a radical like Nina Jankowitz in there, it’s going to be weaponized against individuals that they don’t agree with. That they can decide what is and what isn’t truth, right from the beginning – isn’t that scary?”
President Biden has tapped Jankowitz to head up the censorship board.
Jankowitz – who previously worked for the National Democratic Institute – was against Musk buying Twitter from the minute the rumors first broke.
She feared the Tesla Founder’s mission to bring free speech to the Big Tech giant would lead to an influx of “disinformation,” and “hate speech.”
“I shudder to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms,” Jankowitz tweeted. “What that would look like for marginalized communities . . . which are already shouldering . . . disproportionate amounts of this abuse.”
Speaking of misinformation, Jankowitz once referred to the Hunter Biden Laptop from Hell as a “hoax” from the Trump campaign.
Of course, Twitter infamously banned the New York Post story about Hunter’s laptop, which is now confirmed to be true.
Don Jr. says the move by President Biden and his administration is uniquely unAmerican.
“We’re going to give you what the truth is, it doesn’t matter what we find out later, we’re going to suppress it now, rather than being American,” Don Jr. said. “Having a dialog, being able to talk to point out ideas, even if they’re bad ideas that people can listen to and figure it out for themselves.”
Trump Jr. went on to say he’s been “in the room” for the past five years – and most of the misinformation is coming from the corporate-controlled media.
“They don’t even have a pretense of objectivity anymore,” Trump Jr. said about the so-called “mainstream” media. “They could care less about if they’re lying or not as long as they’re able to move the needle politically in the direction they want.”
Don Jr. ends with a poignant question, what would all the Democrats who are supporting Biden’s Ministry of Truth be saying right now if Donald Trump proposed the same thing?
