If there’s one thing the Biden regime didn’t think they had to worry about when they took office, it’s the White House Press Corps.
They just didn’t know a foreign journalist could become their worst nightmare.
And now the Biden regime went berserk after this African journalist received a major award for exposing their lies.
Exposing the regime’s “rigged” press conferences
Anyone who watches more than a couple of minutes of Biden Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s press briefings knows something is off.
Conservatives have, of course, known that to be the case for all Democrat politicians’ relationships with the legacy media for some, but with the White House Press Corps. being the dutiful lap dogs they are, no one ever blew the whistle on what nefariousness was going on behind the scenes.
But because of Today News Africa Chief White House correspondent Simon Ateba, we know exactly what’s going on – as he put it, the Biden regime’s press conferences are “rigged.”
Ateba brought that fact, and so much more, to light throughout last year as he repeatedly confronted Jean-Pierre for pre-selecting self-proclaimed “journalists” from a small pool of the only reporters allowed to ask questions, having them pre-submit their questions, then utilizing her massive notebook to pre-write all her answers, and then following a script for how it’ll all play out.
He even ripped the Biden regime for “discriminating” against him repeatedly, even completely shutting Ateba out in the lead up to a summit between President Biden and African leaders, punishing him for questioning the regime by not allowing him to properly cover a major event for his people.
All of Simon Ateba’s outstanding journalism has not gone unnoticed, though, and now he’s been given a major award for his efforts.
On Friday, just before the new year, Ateba appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight and accepted the show’s “Winner of 2022” award.
And in doing so, he once again took Karine Jean-Pierre and the Biden regime head on.
“It’s been hell”
Ateba spoke with former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who was filling in for Tucker Carlson, and described his ongoing conflict with Jean-Pierre and the Biden regime, saying “it’s been hell.”
As a matter of fact, Ateba even revealed that he’s been covering the White House, thousands of miles away from his African home, without receiving a salary – something that he’s had to overcome for the past three years to continue providing the African people quality journalism on the relationship between the U.S. and the African continent.
“It’s been really hard covering the White House, it’s been hell and I don’t know how I was able to sustain my strength,” Ateba told Gabbard. “I’ve worked really hard and even without money, I have not received a salary for the past three years but I kept doing my job because I believe that there’s a place to strengthen the relationship between the U.S. and Africa.”
While he hasn’t received a salary for his journalism, Ateba told Gabbard that he’s being fulfilled by fighting back against Karine Jean-Pierre’s discrimination and fighting for the truth.
“As you know, Today News Africa focuses on U.S.-African relations and I find fulfillment when I do the right thing, when I ask the right question, when I seek the truth, when I continue to push Karine Jean-Pierre who has discriminated against me for months now. I find fulfillment when I continue to just push for the truth, ask the right question and make sure that the American people and the African people also get to have the answers that it deserves.”
“I went into journalism because I wanted to make a difference, and I’m happy to be here,” the journalist concluded.
Of course, when you find out everything Simon Ateba has been through as a journalist searching for truth in a world where the globalist elites want to control the narrative.
Back in May, Ateba noted just a few of the trials he’s faced, as he questioned whether freedom of the press truly exists in the U.S. after the White House Correspondents Association threatened to expel him for questioning why former Biden chief propagandist Jen Psaki refused to every allow him, or many other journalists outside the chosen few, to ask a question.
“I have sacrificed everything for journalism,” Ateba previously said. “I have done no other job across various continents. I have been arrested, detained, accused of being a spy for Boko Haram while doing an investigative report on Nigerian refugees in Chad and Cameroon. I have been attacked by pirates on the Gulf of Guinea, kidnapped from a car in Lagos, dumped in the woods and left for dead.”
“Am I not worth asking a question at least once a month?” he asked rhetorically. “Am I not being in the room when President Biden receives President Kenyatta of Kenya? Am I less? Is that what press freedom is?”
America, and the world at large, certainly needs more journalists like Simon Ateba in a time in which the so-called “mainstream” media is undoubtedly controlled by the ruling class global elitists.
He’s been a threat to the Biden regime simply because he refuses to shut up and get in line, and is determined to get to the truth, no matter where it leads.
And that’s why there’s no doubt that Simon Ateba is the big “Winner of 2022.”
