But the crowd went nuts when Donald Trump mocked Joe Biden in one epic move on stage.
Donald Trump is well-known for his sometimes brutal, yet funny, attacks on his rivals.
Wandering around aimlessly
The former President has been focusing most of his barbs on Ron DeSantis, who he calls “Ron DeSanctimonious.”
But Trump has used multiple nicknames for his potential 2024 GOP opponent, including “DeSanctus,” “Tiny D,” “Meatball Ron” and “Ron DeSanctimonious.”
In the past, Trump launched brutally funny attacks on anyone he perceived as a rival, especially his GOP opponents like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and DeSantis.
He recently gave a nickname to his one-time supporter, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
Trump dubbed him “Sloppy Chris Christie” and said he has a “big mouth.”
But Trump takes special delight in going after Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
To be fair, Biden makes an especially easy target.
His continual missteps, misstatements, and falls are the stuff of legends that haven’t been seen since President Gerald Ford’s famous falls.
President Joe Biden is a walking slapstick comedy routine.
He’s a man who seems to aimlessly wander around the stage, not sure where, or even who, he is.
And Donald Trump is not the kind of person who will just let that pass without a few jabs.
“Crooked Joe”
At a recent rally, Trump announced he would no longer use his famous nickname “Crooked Hillary” in reference to Hillary Clinton.
“I will be retiring the name ‘Crooked’ from Hillary Clinton,” Trump said.
“I’m gonna give her a new name,” he continued. “I don’t know, like maybe ‘Lovely Hillary’ or ‘Beautiful Hillary,’ but I’m going to retire the name ‘Crooked’ so that we can use the name for Joe Biden – because he’ll be known from now on as ‘Crooked Joe’ Biden.”
Trump’s announcement came after Clinton made it clear that she will not be participating in the 2024 election.
“You would think that Hillary would be very happy today,” Trump said. ”I think she’ll be – she’s out there someplace, celebrating because there’s never been anyone in the history of American politics so crooked or dishonest as Joe Biden.”
The use of “Crooked Joe” is a change for Trump.
During the 2020 election, he referred to him as “Sleepy Joe.”
Lost on stage
But it was Trump’s most recent hit at Biden that got people really talking.
The former President mocked Joe Biden at a rally in New Hampshire, but this time he did more than use nicknames.
Thump pretended to get lost on stage and started wandering around aimlessly while the crowd went wild.
It was a clear parody of Joe Biden’s antics on stage, and Trump nailed it.
