The Duck Dynasty crew just made one huge announcement about its future that has fans jumping with joy

Americans are begging for some good family entertainment to watch on television.

Well it looks like families may finally have a reason again to tune in.

And the Duck Dynasty crew just made one huge announcement about its future that has fans jumping with joy. 

The good old days of family television

Many people really miss the way televisions used to bring the family together each night. 

Before cell phones and tablets took over as the main source of nightly entertainment, families would unite in the living room to watch their favorite shows. 

And you can probably remember your own favorite show on television that you would look forward to seeing the next episode of each week. 

But as shows on television have become harder to watch, most people have just moved onto handheld electronics to provide them with their nightly entertainment. 

Well some Americans still wish there was something on TV that they could gather everyone around the screen again for some family time. 

And it looks like they may get another chance at bringing everyone back together in the living room again as a classic is coming back on television. 

Duck Dynasty was one of the best shows on television just a decade ago.

The show provided comedy, entertainment, family values, and religion all in one show which was extremely rare to see, even a decade ago. 

But Duck Dynasty aired its last show on A&E back in 2017 and since then families haven’t been able to find anything that can replace the show. 

Well now families don’t have to find anything else as Duck Dynasty is coming back on your living room screen as it was just revealed that A&E has contracted with the Robertsons to air at least two seasons of the show. 

Duck Dynasty is back!

The new show is called Duck Dynasty: The Revival and will still follow most of your favorite characters from the Robertson family. 

But Phil Robertson will not be on the show as he continues to decline in health and memory. 

Even with his absences the show should still be a hit. 

An executive at A&E told the press about her excitement about the new addition to her country line up.

Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive VP and Head of Programming for A&E told the press, “The Robertsons earned a seat in homes across the country with their unique brand of down-home practicality, Southern charm and relatable humor. Duck Dynasty played a huge part of the success of A&E for many years, and we look forward to reuniting with the Robertsons on the revival.”

And even the Robertsons are excited to unite with their fanbase on their new show. 

Willie and Korie Robertson released a statement saying, “Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”

Thankfully there is something coming down the pike on television that will fill up our living rooms again.
