The radical Left has endless organizations that push their ideology on the American people.
This led to parents going face-to-face with school boards and teachers unions.
And the Southern Poverty Law Center just put a target on the back of every American fighting for parental rights.
Moms for Liberty: Two-thirds of Americans believe public education is “on the wrong track”
The outrage in recent years stems from efforts to deprive parents of the right to consent for their children. Leftists are fighting to push their radical ideology on children and they want the parents to sit back and watch it happen.
Conservative groups are popping up all across the country to fight for parental rights. Moms for Liberty was founded by Tiffany Justice and Tina Descovich in 2021. The group is “empowering parents” to fight against the radical changes that have been happening in schools.
“Two-thirds of Americans think the public education system is on the wrong track today,” the founders of Moms for Liberty told Timcast News. “That is why our organization is devoted to empowering parents to be a part of their child’s public-school education.”
But the group is learning that you get a target put on your back for opposing the Left.
SPLC calls Moms for Liberty a “hate” because of its “anti-government” views
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) placed Moms for Liberty on their “hate map” earlier this week in response to what they call the group’s “anti-government” views. They said this is due to “grand disruptions at school board meetings, political alliances, and extremist ties.”
The group ignored Moms for Liberty’s democratic approach of petitioning to address the radical ideological shift in our public school system. Instead, they claimed that the group has been “making waves for intimidating and harassing teachers and school officials.”
The SPLC said that Moms for Liberty has “publicly battled teachers unions, labeling them as ‘cartels’ and ‘terrorist organizations.’” Moms for Liberty’s effort to secure parental rights has angered the SPLC.
Of course, being placed on SPLC’s “hate map” has real world consequences that the group must now worry about.
SPLC’s “hate map” inspired a mass shooting at the Family Research Council in 2012
The SPLC has been known for inciting violence against conservative policymakers and activists. Their “hate map,” which highlights locations of what they call “hate and anti-government groups” across the country, has led to real world violence.
In 2012, the SPLC put the Family Research Council (FRC) on their map and it turned into a terrorist attack on their headquarters in Washington, D.C. A man by the name of Floyd Lee Corkins II showed up at their office with a gun and multiple rounds of ammunition.
Corkins cited the SLPC’s list of “anti-gay groups” in an interview with the FBI for the reason he targetted the Family Research Council. He found more information about FRC online after they were added to the “hate map.” Even though it’s been ten years since the attack, FRC is still listed on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate map.”
