For years now Joe Biden’s handlers have gone to great lengths to keep him from speaking publicly without extensive notes or a teleprompter.
And his latest interview proved exactly why that’s the case.
Now the White House is panicking after Joe Biden went rogue during this 60 Minutes interview.
Biden comes out of hiding
If not for extensive collusion between the corporate-controlled media and Big Tech – apparently at the behest of the FBI, according to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg – Joe Biden wouldn’t be President.
Throughout the 2020 Presidential campaign, then-candidate Biden’s lackeys routinely used COVID as an excuse to literally keep him locked in a basement and away from the voters and TV cameras.
And those efforts have continued after Biden took office, with his handlers pre-writing most every speech, requiring him to read from a teleprompter, giving him detailed notes down to when he should shake someone’s hand and sit down, and rarely – if ever – engaging in one-on-one interviews with self-proclaimed “journalists.”
In fact, even though those self-proclaimed “journalists” are almost universally dyed-in-the-wool left-wing extremists who are firmly on Team Biden, up until this past weekend, President Biden had not sat for a one-on-one interview with any outlets in more than seven months.
So it was only natural for the Biden regime to handpick 60 Minutes’ left-wing host Scott Pelley to give the President the type of softball, lapdog interview he can’t screw up.
The only problem was, Joe Biden still screwed it all up, going rogue on a number of issues and forcing the White House to immediately backtrack on most everything he said.
Most troubling of all, though, were President Biden’s comments on China, which can only be interpreted as a push to put America in World War III.
Boots on the ground in Taiwan
While United States taxpayers are footing a more than $50 billion bill for President Biden’s proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, he’s also apparently eyeing another opportunity to plunge America into yet another perpetual war absolutely no one other than the elites are in favor of.
During his 60 Minutes interview, President Biden was asked if the U.S. military would defend Taiwan, should Communist China follow Russia’s lead by invading the self-governed island.
“Yes, if in fact there was an unprecedented attack,” Biden declared without hesitation.
What exactly Biden defines as an “unprecedented attack” no one knows, as China does have a history of bombing Taiwan on multiple occasions throughout their tensions over the Taiwan Strait, a vital trade and military sea lane for the Communist nation.
Instead of asking such a follow-up question, 60 Minutes‘ Scott Pelley did, to his credit, ask the President to clarify what he meant by the U.S. defending Taiwan.
“So, unlike Ukraine, to be clear, sir — U.S. forces, U.S. men and women, would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion?” Pelley asked.
“Yes,” Biden emphatically stated.
But, of course, President Biden’s claims go totally against decades of U.S. foreign policy doctrine, especially the “One China” position the government has stuck to religiously in order to keep tensions with the Communist nation from boiling over.
And before the 60 Minutes interview even aired, Biden’s handlers were already hard at work walking back everything he claimed.
How often can they walk Biden’s claims back before World War III kicks off?
Prior to the interview airing, a White House official pushed 60 Minutes to ensure that they made clear that the U.S. policy towards Taiwan has not changed, despite the President saying the exact opposite on national television.
As the New York Post pointed out, “The US maintains ‘strategic ambiguity’ on whether American soldiers would defend Taiwan . . .”
But the Biden regime’s actions tell a far different story.
Just under two weeks ago, “the State Department announced the sale of a $1.1 billion defense package — which included anti-ship and air-to-air missiles — to Taiwan,” which is supposedly part of a pledge made to the nation under the Taiwan Relations Act of 1979, according to the Post.
On top of that, President Biden himself has made similar comments about the U.S. putting boots on the ground in Taiwan on three different occasions since mid-2021.
And every single time, the Biden White House has immediately walked back everything the President claimed in order to avoid entering into World War III with China.
Something just doesn’t add up with President Biden’s claims and his regime’s actions – they are constantly contradicting one another, while seemingly moving to prepare for war.
Most troubling, though, is the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin was in China over the weekend, meeting with Communist President Xi Jinping.
The two authoritarian regimes have only been driven closer to one another since Joe Biden took office, and it’s more clear than ever that they are forging a new alliance to take on America, while it remains in a weakened state under Democrat-control.
And if Joe Biden’s own words – and the actions of his regime – are any indication, putting boots on the ground in Asia and kicking off World War III is almost certainly only a matter of time.
