This could be the real reason behind the tumultuous battle for Speaker of the House

The GOP is failing its constituents in a big way as it closes in on three weeks with no House Speaker.

Jim Jordan was the man who many Americans wanted for the role, but RINOs iced him out of the race.

And this could be the real reason behind the tumultuous battle for Speaker of the House.

Jordan gets the boot in a secret ballot “as swampy as Swamp gets”

After months of weak leadership and broken commitments, Kevin McCarthy was removed from his role as Speaker of the House by a successful motion to vacate the chair.

Jim Jordan was an obvious pick to replace McCarthy and the American people showed their support for him by ringing Congressional phone lines off the hook.

After three rounds of voting, Jordan is no longer in the running to take the role as Speaker and it’s all thanks to RINOs who didn’t want to see a true America First leader in the House.

In a floor vote on Friday, 25 of these so-called Republicans voted against Jordan and left him far shy of the required 217 votes he needed to win.

After the third loss on the floor, Republicans held a secret ballot vote to finally push Jordan out of the race.

Matt Gaetz said it was done in the “basement of the Capitol” and described the secret ballot as “as swampy as Swamp gets.”

Steve Scalise may have been the ringleader of the RINOs who ousted Jordan from the race

More information is coming out that shows an interesting connection between the RINOs who blocked Jordan on the floor.

According to a CNN report, Steve Scalise, who had made a run for Speaker the week before, seemed to be working against Jordan during his rounds of voting.

“Jordan asked for Scalise’s help in the Speaker race,” Annie Grayer shared on X. “ Scalise wouldn’t commit. Not being a team player.”

Scalise allegedly organized an uprising within the GOP conference, many of whom eventually voted with him on the floor.

Conservative activist Debbie Dooley is a native to Louisiana politics and she said “that Scalise is just doing his favorite thing, backstabbing.”

There’s also this surprising thing about Scalise and the 13 other RINOs who held out on Jim Jordan.

They all have financial ties to a major corruption scandal that broke earlier this year.

Fifteen RINOs who stopped Jordan from becoming Speaker collected money from FTX

Executives at the failed crypto exchange, FTX, came under fire earlier this year when their firm collapsed and evidence of impropriety became clear.

Sam Bankman-Fried is still facing charges while his former co-CEO, Ryan Salame, has already pled guilty to Conspiracy to Make Unlawful Political Contributions and Defraud the Federal Election Commission.

There were 15 names on that list that stand out now more than ever.

The 15 names are Steve Scalise (R-LA), John Rutherford (R-FL), Jen Kiggans (R-VA), Kay Granger (R-TX), Mike Simpson (R-ID), Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), Marinette Miller-Meeks (R-IA), Mike Lawler (R-NY), Steve Womack (R-AR), Mike Kelly (R-PA), Mike Simpson (R-ID), Mario Diz-Balart (R-FL), Linda Chavez-Deremer (R-OR), Andrew Garbarino (R-NY), and Tony Gonzales (R-TX).

All of these Representatives received donations from FTX executives and could all be investigated as a result of the scandal.

Scalise received $2,900 from Salame, according to FEC records, which is the maximum allowed for individual contributions.
