Something odd is happening on the Left.

Numerous notoriously left-wing celebrities are beginning to not only question the Left’s extremism but to also outright rebuke it.

And now this Hollywood actor just responded to the left-wing outrage mob in the most epic way possible.

Hit a little too close to home for Democrats

For the better part of the past four decades, Oscar-nominated actor Woody Harrelson made a name for himself in hit films like Wildcats, White Men Can’t Jump, The Thin Red Line, No Country for Old Men, and The Hunger Games franchise, as well as on popular television shows like Cheers and True Detective.

He’s also spent that entire time focusing on left-wing activism as a self-described “anarchist, Marxist, ethical hedonist, non-discriminatory empath, epistemological deconstructionist Texan.”

Needless to say, Harrelson turned heads recently when he hosted Saturday Night Live for the fifth time in his career and used the opportunity to rail against COVID authoritarianism.

During his SNL monologue, Harrelson told a story about smoking cannabis in New York City’s Central Park while reading “the craziest script” for a movie he’s ever read in which the world’s largest drug cartels team up, take over the world, and force everyone to be locked up unless they take their drugs.

“So the movie goes like this,” Harrelson said. “The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes.”

“And people can only come out if they take the cartel’s drugs and keep taking them over and over,” he added. “I threw the script away. I mean, who was going to believe that crazy idea? Being forced to do drugs? I do that voluntarily all day long.”

As expected, the Left was none too pleased by the actor’s stance against COVID authoritarianism.

The Washington Post claimed Harrelson used his SNL appearance to push a “popular covid-19 conspiracy theory,” while the left-wing outrage mob echoed the same sentiment by claiming that “normalizing #antivaxx conspiracies does real harm!’”

Clearly, the actor’s made-up story apparently hit a little too close to home for Democrats.

Doubling down against the Left’s insanity

But rather than taking the typical Hollywood actor route of kowtowing to the left-wing outrage mob, Harrelson simply doubled down.

During an interview with the New York Times, the actor explained that he’s tired of the fact that leftist authoritarians in government are still forcing Americans to live under COVID restrictions three years after the pandemic.

Harrelson ripped the fact that it’s nearly impossible for filmmakers to make independent films anymore because of the mask and vaccine mandates still being enforced in many industries.

“Now to get an indie done?” Harrelson told the New York Times. “Especially with all the Covid protocols — which, to me, are rather absurd. I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Of course, the self-proclaimed “journalist” conducting the interview for the Times couldn’t help but ask “what’s absurd about the Covid protocols?”

“The fact that they’re still going on!” Harrelson exclaimed. “I don’t think that anybody should have the right to demand that you’re forced to do the testing, forced to wear the mask, and forced to get vaccinated three years on. I’m just like, let’s be done with this nonsense. It’s not fair to the crews. I don’t have to wear a mask. Why should they? Why should they have to be vaccinated? How’s that not up to the individual?”

The White Men Can’t Jump star tried to stop himself since he knew he was only kicking a hornet’s nest that would rile up the radical left-wing outrage mob.

But he simply couldn’t help himself.

“I shouldn’t be talking about this s**t,” Harrelson added. “It makes me angry for the crew. The anarchist part of me, I don’t feel that we should have forced testing, forced masking, and forced vaccination. That’s not a free country. Really I’m talking about the crew. Because I can get out of wearing a mask. I can test less. I’m not in the same position they’re in, but it’s wrong. It’s been three years. Stop.”

When a self-described “anarchist, Marxist, ethical hedonist, non-discriminatory empath, epistemological deconstructionist Texan” has had enough of the left-wing nonsense, you know they’ve gone too far.

Put simply, many Americans from all sorts of political persuasions are starting to reach their breaking points and are finally fighting back against the Left’s authoritarianism.

And with left-wing stars like Woody Harrelson finally taking a stand – albeit three years late – maybe there’s still hope for America.
