The Secret Service has been charged with protecting the President since the assassination of President McKinley in 1901.
They are supposed to be ready to take a bullet for the people they are protecting.
But this Secret Service Agent abandoned her post to protect Donald Trump for a very strange reason.
Secret Service Goes Woke
Kimberly Cheatle was put in charge of the Secret Service in 2023.
She was pushed into the position because of Jill Biden.
Cheatle immediately began a program to diversify the service.
She started hosting events pushing the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity agenda.
In other words, she quit hiring and promoting people based on merit and started rewarding people based on criteria that they can’t control.
Her major push was to include more women at the agency.
She created “Unity Day” and pushed materials to make sure people were aware of pronouns.
But noticeably absent was advanced training on protecting high level government officials.
Agent Takes a Breastfeeding Break
A reporter for RealClearPolitics noticed that one of the Secret Service agents abandoned her post five minutes before Donald Trump was scheduled to arrive at his North Carolina rally.
The reporter followed the agent to a room where they were doing security work.
But the agent went to breastfeed a child.

The agent was out of the Atlanta office and was tasked with guarding a specific section of the route that Trump was supposed to take to enter the event.
This event happened just a month after the attempt on Trump’s life in Pennsylvania that led to Cheatle’s resignation.
The Secret Service said that the agent’s action did not endanger Donald Trump.
But it didn’t elaborate further or mention if there would be any disciplinary action against the agent who abandoned her post.
No one offered an explanation as to why family members were in the room where the agents were doing security work.
The agency has taken a great deal of heat from critics who seriously wonder if they are more concerned about creating a DEI inclusive environment than they are with their core mission.
Cheatle was widely attacked for suggesting that she didn’t put agents on the roof where the sniper was positioned because the slope was too much for them to navigate.
But the incident highlighted the problems with the Biden administration’s DEI policies that put people at risk because they want to create a woke environment.
