Donald Trump is arguably the most important public figure in the history of Twitter.
Prior to his indefinite suspension from the platform, Trump boasted nearly 90 million followers.
After Musk purchased Twitter, people have demanded he bring back Trump – now Trump has broken the silence on the matter.
Fake statement says Trump’s account will be “back up and running Monday”
Trump made it perfectly clear when he was kicked off Twitter that he wouldn’t be going back.
He vowed to produce his own platform where free speech would reign.
Now that Elon Musk is the sole owner at Twitter the conversation has been renewed.
People want Trump back on Twitter.
They want it so badly in fact that there was even a fake statement from Trump that was circulating about the topic.
In it, Trump allegedly promised his account would be “back up and running Monday” and that he looked forward to engaging with “an African-American owned business.”
Unfortunately, that statement wasn’t real and Trump dispelled all rumors shortly after it’s emergence.
Trump says he is “very happy Twitter is now in sane hands”
Trump posted on his social media platform TRUTH Social praising the work his team has done, “TRUTH SOCIAL has become somewhat of a phenomena. Last week it had bigger numbers than all other platforms, including TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and the rest.”
He went on to congratulate Musk.
It really should be a celebration for us all though.
Trump said that he is “very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs that truly hate our country.”
Trump said that though he’s happy with what is happening there is more work to be done.
He was well aware of Musk’s efforts to expose the company for the bots that people use to manipulate Twitter trends and sentiment on the platform.
He told Musk, “Twitter must now work hard to rid itself of all of the bots and fake accounts that have hurt it so badly. It will be much smaller, but better. I LOVE TRUTH!”
Following the statement, rumors still swirled that Trump might be getting back on the platform.
It started to trend, and people were still calling on Musk directly to reinstate Donald Trump.
Elon says “no major decisions” yet while Trump says “I’m not going anywhere”
He responded to the requests stating that the company will form a “content moderation council” and until then “no major content decisions or account reinstatements will happen.”
Twitter will be forming a content moderation council with widely diverse viewpoints.
No major content decisions or account reinstatements will happen before that council convenes.

Trump put an end to all Twitter rumors by retruthing a meme that says “WE LOVE TRUTH” with the comment, “So do I, and I’m not going anyplace else (as much as they want me!).”
Many people have called out Musk for his “content moderation council” and expect that he is caving to the woke mob.
Others hope that he is just covering his backside by trying to look level-headed in his pursuit to restore as many accounts as possible.
One thing is for sure, Musk knows how valuable it would be to bring Trump back to the platform.
His most recent tweet on the matter said, “If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me if Trump is coming back on this platform, Twitter would be minting money!”
If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me if Trump is coming back on this platform, Twitter would be minting money!

But just remember, even if Musk manages to restore Trump’s account – it’s highly unlikely that Trump will come back.
