Elon Musk’s Twitter Files shook up Washington, D.C.
Musk revealed the dark secrets of how Twitter censored speech to help Democrats and hurt Republicans.
That led to Tucker Carlson saying three words about a leading Democrat that no one saw coming.
Journalist Matt Taibbi published internal Twitter communications showing how the company went about censoring the New York Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop in the final weeks of the 2020 Presidential election.
The emails showed that Twitter head of legal and trust, Vijaya Goode, pushed for the company to censor the laptop story based on the false premise that it violated the platform’s ban on hacked materials.

But the emails also contained a surprising nugget.
Left-wing California Congressman Ro Khanna emailed Goode and expressed his concern about Twitter censoring a news story in the heat of a Presidential campaign even though the censorship benefited his candidate.

Tucker Carlson covered the Twitter Files on his show and singled out Khanna for praise, saying “good for him” and lamenting the fact that only one Democrat voiced any concern about massive tech companies meddling in the 2020 election.
Carlson stated:
So throughout all of this, the record shows, at least as of right now, only one elected official in the entire Democratic Party – That would be Ro Khanna of Silicon Valley, a Democrat — voicing any concern at all. So Khanna reached out to Vijaya Gadde. And here’s what he wrote: ‘This seems to be a violation of the First Amendment principles. And I say this as a total Biden partisan.’ But he was completely blown off by Vijaya Gadde.
By the way, good for him. He’s a liberal, too, but apparently sort of a real one.
The Democrat Party is completely dependent on tech censorship to silence their political opponents.
The Twitter Files made that clear.
But it is also disheartening that only one Democrat believes in a core American value like free speech.
