Tucker Carlson went ballistic on Chris Christie with this brutal reality check

Former RINO New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is running for President as an establishment friendly Never-Trumper.

That put Christie into conflict with Tucker Carlson.

And Tucker Carlson went ballistic on Chris Christie with this brutal reality check.

One of the GOP establishment’s sacred cows is providing a blank check for Joe Biden’s war in Ukraine.

Republican opposition to funneling over $140 billion in taxpayer money to Ukraine grew as Tucker Carlson used his perch as the highest-rated host on cable news to slam establishment RINOs for prioritizing securing Ukraine’s border while allowing Joe Biden to open America’s southern border to a historic wave of illegal immigration.

Even though Fox News fired Carlson, his turn moderating the Iowa Family Leader Summit allowed him to confront GOP Presidential candidates Mike Pence, Asa Hutchinson, Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, Ron DeSantis, and Nikki Haley with questions about their plans for Ukraine.

One of the most viral moments of the events was Mike Pence saying, “That’s not my concern,” when Carlson wondered why Republicans and Democrats supported an endless gravy train of money to Ukraine while American cities crumbled.

Chris Christie ducked the Family Leader Summit so he did not have to answer tough questions about his unyielding support for Joe Biden’s endless war in Ukraine.

Christie was happy – however – to answer softball questions about Ukraine from former Clinton aide turned host of ABC’s This Week, George Stephanopoulos.

In the interview, Christie smeared Carlson as “wrong” on Ukraine and claimed that America running out of ammunition to fight Joe Biden’s war against Russia would somehow deter the Communist Chinese from invading Taiwan.

“I would have said, ‘you’ve always been wrong about this, Tucker, and you’re still wrong,’” Christie stated. “That, in fact, what’s going on, George, is that this is a proxy war with China. The Chinese are funding the Russian war by buying Russian oil. They’re coordinating with the Iranians to provide lethal weapons to the Russian army. And we can decide when to have this conflict. Right now, the Ukrainians are willing to fight this fight for themselves if they have our support to be able to win it. If the Chinese watch us back away from Ukraine, as Tucker Carlson and others would advocate, believe me, the next move will be Taiwan.”

Carlson fired back by blasting Christie as a “blustery coward” over the fact that he refused interview requests from him to instead allow leftists to spout off propaganda with no basis in reality.

“Sounds like this could use a longer conversation. We just asked @GovChristie to sit down and explain his views on Ukraine. He refused,” Carlson wrote on Twitter. “You hate to think that Chris Christie is a blustery coward who plays the tough guy with sycophants at ABC but won’t answer real questions, but who knows? We hope he reconsiders.”
