Joe Biden declared war on American energy on his first day in office by canceling the Keystone XL Pipeline and suspending all leases for drilling oil on federal lands.
The Democrats’ Green New Deal also threatens oil and gas companies with crippling regulations while subsidizing inefficient, “green” energy such as wind and solar.
As a result of Joe Biden’s war on American energy production, gas prices have soared to all-time highs with no signs of relief in sight.
Inflation and gas prices are a top concern
With the Midterm elections just around the corner, polls continue to show that inflation and high gas prices are the top two concerns for American families.
According to a recent Monmouth University poll, 33 percent of respondents identified inflation as the top concern facing their family, which is a 19 percent increase over the past six months.
Gas prices came in second, with 15 percent of respondents listing it as the top concern facing their families.
Inflation and gas prices were the only issues to hit double digits, with the economy coming in third at 9 percent listing it as a top concern.
Of course, Joe Biden has attempted to deflect the blame on anyone but himself, saying it’s the fault of “Putin’s price hike” and greedy oil company executives.
But the Monmouth poll showed voters aren’t buying it, as 57 percent said that Joe Biden’s actions over the past six months have hurt their families “when it comes to their most important concern.”
Biden ships America’s strategic oil reserves overseas
Instead of allowing for more drilling in America, Joe Biden continues to blame others for the crisis he created.
One action Biden took to give the appearance of trying to solve the problem was authorizing one million barrels of oil per day to be released domestically from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).
The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), which is under the control of the Department of Energy, is supposed to maintain roughly 700 million barrels of oil in the event of an emergency or disruption in the supply.
As a result of Biden releasing oil into America to try to lower gas prices, the SPR is currently at its lowest level since 1986.
That’s why Americans will be infuriated over the fact that Joe Biden just shipped 5 million barrels of much-needed oil from our reserves to foreign countries, including Communist China.
“More than 5 million barrels of oil that were part of a historic U.S. emergency reserves release to lower domestic fuel prices were exported to Europe and Asia last month, according to data and sources, even as U.S. gasoline and diesel prices hit record highs,” Reuters reported.
“The export of crude and fuel is blunting the impact of the moves by U.S. President Joe Biden to lower record pump prices,” Reuters continued.
According to one of the sources, a cargo ship full of crude oil recently left America headed directly for China.
The American people were already concerned with skyrocketing inflation, especially record-high gas prices.
But the fact that Joe Biden is sending oil from our Strategic Reserves to foreign countries – including Communist China – while Americans are struggling to fill up their tanks will only turn their concern into anger.
And voters will take this anger out on Joe Biden and the Democrats at the ballot box in November.
