What The New York Times declared about anyone who questions “drag queen story hour” will absolutely infuriate you

Legacy institutions are being eaten from the inside by radical leftists.

This is particularly true in the realm of establishment media.

And what The New York Times declared about anyone who questions “drag queen story hour” will absolutely infuriate you.

The New York Times has always been a left-wing rag, but the “paper of record” is no longer hiding its true radical left-wing bias.

Look no further than former New York Times journalist Bari Weiss, who was forced to resign for disagreeing with the outlet’s decision to capitulate to criticism on Twitter and only report on stories for “the narrowest of audiences” – aka the radical Left.

Now, The Times’ editorial board is effectively labeling Americans who oppose the Left’s new obsession of drag queen performances for kids as terrorists.

“Protests use the language of right-wing media, where demonizing gay and transgender people is profitable and popular,” The Times claimed. “Tucker Carlson, a Fox News host who rails against transgender people and the medical facilities that serve them, has the highest-rated prime-time cable news program in the country. Twitter personalities with millions of followers flag drag events and spread anti-trans rhetoric that can result in in-person demonstrations or threats. Facebook pages of activist groups can mobilize demonstrators with ease.”

This is embarrassing left-wing propaganda.

There are gay and transgender people in “right-wing media” — even on Fox News, the Left’s favorite boogeyman — but they do not subscribe to the sexualization of children.

It’s bizarre how the Left has chosen to lump in the sexual exploitation of kids with the broader LGBTQ+ agenda.

There is no sane reason for Democrats to defend sexualized drag queen stripteases where kids are tipping the performers.

The New Times is attempting to demonize parents who have a problem with exhibitions like that.

Some left-wing radicals will argue that drag performances are different from Drag Queen Story Hour — even though they defend both — but the intent is the same.

Transgender educator Harper Keenan and Drag Queen Story Hour performer Lil Miss Hot Mess wrote in an academic paper called Drag Pedagogy for the once-reputable academic journal Curriculum Inquiry that such events are somehow “family friendly.”

“It may be that DQSH is ‘family friendly,’ in the sense that it is accessible and inviting to families with children, but it is less a sanitizing force than it is a preparatory introduction to alternate modes of kinship,” the paper read. “Here, DQSH is ‘family friendly’ in the sense of ‘family’ as an old-school queer code to identify and connect with other queers on the street.”

“We’re dressing up, we’re shaking our hips, and we’re finding our light – even in the fluorescents,” they continued. “We’re reading books while we read each other’s looks, and we’re leaving a trail of glitter that won’t ever come out of the carpet.”

So, according to left-wing radicals, “family-friendly” does not mean what anyone previously thought – it’s almost as if they’ve decided to redefine another word for their purposes.

Activists are politically grooming kids with “preparatory introduction” into their deranged “woke” agenda.

They are not exactly hiding it at all, but The New York Times is still happily running interference for them.

Should drag performances be viewed in the same way as a striptease?
