There is, of course, the show’s lead, long-time award winning actor Kevin Costner.
And most everyone has heard of Beth Dutton, played by English actress Jessica Kelly Siobhán Reilly.
The hard-charging and fiercely loyal Beth has become a cult hero to millions of women and men around the world.
And the tagline, “In a world of Karen’s, be a Beth,” has become a marketer’s dream.
And then there is Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, the ranch’s Mr. fix-it-all and Beth’s love interest.
Rip Wheeler is a badass ranch foreman and problem solver who is madly in love with the owner’s daughter.
Another of the show’s breakout stars is Luke Grimes, who plays Beth’s brother, Kayce Dutton, and has become a heartthrob to millions of women around the world.
A talented and versatile performer
Of course, Grimes already had quite the resume before Yellowstone, best known for his role as real life Navy SEAL Marc Alan Lee in the acclaimed film American Sniper.
He also played Christian Grey’s brother, Elliot, in the film Fifty Shades of Grey, and its sequels, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.
And he first gained acclaim in the HBO series True Blood.
Aside from his successful acting career, Grimes has now officially kicked off his solo music career.
But before becoming a singer, he actually had a lot of musical experience, telling Rolling Stone in January of 2022 that he had been part of a band before ever booking Yellowstone.
Recently, Grimes teased a new chapter in his career.
On February 22, the Yellowstone star teased new music.
The actor posted two photos of him playing the guitar and singing in the studio with the caption, “new music coming very soon…”
Excited comments from fans began pouring in, with the majority saying they couldn’t wait for the new release.
A successful debut
Grimes released his debut song, No Horse To Ride, back in December, and it has already been played over 8 million times on Spotify alone.
The song was even featured in an episode of Yellowstone.
The gritty hit launched Grimes into the top of the Country music world in a few short months.
On March 16, the actor-turned-singer unveiled the name of his new song and why he is releasing it now.
The new song, Oh Ohio, is a homage to Grimes’ home state.
Grimes was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and he wanted to write a “love letter” to his home state.
The train derailment and chemical spill in East Palestine got him moving on the song’s release.
Grimes wrote on his Instagram account that “another song is out today. Oh Ohio is a very dear one to my heart. If you feel like helping some good people out there will be a t-shirt available in the coming days on the website with 100% of the proceeds going to help the families in East Palestine. Much love and more soon.”
It looks like Luke Grimes will keep his already storied career going for a long time.
