It’s no secret that actress Bette Midler is one of the loudest and most obnoxious leftists in Hollywood.
The once-prominent actress and singer has become an angry and bitter left-wing mouthpiece.
But you won’t believe how actress Bette Midler used Easter as an excuse to push the Left’s radical anti-gun agenda.
Hollywood is packed with strident leftists who wish to impose their viewpoint on all Americans.
Weaponizing Easter to ban weapons
Foremost among these is Bette Midler, who at one time had a huge career.
Midler weaponized the holy holiday of Easter for the sole purpose of pushing gun control.
The Hollywood actress and singer went off on gun violence in a recent tweet and made no bones about her radical views on destroying the Constitution.
On Easter Sunday, Midler ranted and raved about firearms on Twitter.
“On this most Holy Day in the Christian calendar, remember the slaughter of your own innocents in school shootings across America, and let this #Easter mark a #resurrection, for them and for your commitment to change,” Midler tweeted. “It’s your turn.”
Twitter fires back
Midler’s little rant did not go over well based on the responses to her Tweet.
“The left is so unhinged,” one Twitter user responded. “Let this Easter remind you that Jesus came to defeat evil like her. To bring about the awareness of a Good Father. But those who sow evil will be dealt with one day.”
And another user wrote that “guns don’t kill people. Crazy, evil people kill people. Many lives could be saved if we trained good citizens to use guns safely to protect our children. Your ‘change’ would disarm America and make it even less safe.”
“I am praying for you and anyone who shares your perspective,” one user wrote.
Another person responded by calling Midler “repulsive” for weaponizing Easter to push an anti-gun agenda.
A long history of opposing the Second Amendment
Of course, Midler has been a strong opponent of the Second Amendment for years.
Just this past January, Midler said there had already been 36 mass shootings in the United States.
And the washed-up actress is more than willing to advocate for violence to achieve her goal of banning guns.
The radical anti-gun leftist vehemently came out against the Second Amendment in May of 2022, while even encouraging leftists to “come armed” to a protest against the National Rifle Association in Houston, Texas.
Also in May of 2022, Midler blamed the NRA for the death of children around the country.
Of course, if she really cared about the death of America’s children, Midler would be an outspoken opponent of Planned Parenthood for killing preborn children by the millions.
But Midler, like most of her comrades, doesn’t really understand the truth and would certainly never turn against her fellow leftists.
