With summer in full swing, many Americans typically like to take some time off and enjoy a nice vacation with their families.
But as the country sits on the brink of economic collapse and possible worldwide conflict, a large portion of Americans can’t enjoy vacations like they used to.
And you won’t believe how much time the President spends on vacation while the American people suffer.
Biden spends 39 percent of his time vacationing
If most people were allowed to take nearly half of their time at work away on vacation, they’d probably never get much actual work done.
But it looks like the same rules don’t apply to the President of the United States, as he was spotted chilling out on the shores of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Sunday.
The trip is part of an extended break while Biden relaxes alongside the First Lady.
The vacation conveniently takes Biden out of Washington, D.C., at the same time Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s close friend and business associate, is planning to testify on Capitol Hill.
Archer is slated to share intimate details about the foreign business ventures he worked on and about the level at which Joe Biden was personally involved in the dealings.
Meanwhile, the President will be out of his office for a full work week as well as two consecutive weekends for a 10-day vacation.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) reported that Biden has spent a whopping 360 days, or 39% of his Presidency, on vacation.
According to a tweet from RNC Research, “Joe Biden and Jill, Ed.D., are having a relaxing day at the beach, where Biden will remain for another week. Since taking office, Biden has spent 360 days — 39% of his Presidency — on vacation.”
At the time of publishing, this tweet has been retweeted over 4,500 times.
The new calculation simply reminds Americans of other interesting facts about Biden’s propensity to avoid the Oval Office.
According to Breitbart News, in August of 2021, Biden had spent a record 150 days at his home in Delaware in the 18 months since he was elected.
The year prior, he spent time at Camp David while the world watched the city of Kabul, Afghanistan fall to the Taliban.
On August 15, 2021, Breitbart tweeted that “President Joe Biden remained on vacation at Camp David in Maryland as U.S. diplomats scrambled Sunday to escape Kabul, Afghanistan.”
Biden’s vacation time in comparison
Spending nearly half of your time as the President of the United States on vacation is not a good look, especially when the nation is in turmoil.
By comparison, former President Donald Trump spent just 132 days away from the Oval Office at his home in Mar-a-Lago during the winter or at his residence in Bedminster, New Jersey, during the summer.
Former President Barack Obama spent just 38 days of his Presidency at rental properties in Hawaii and Martha’s Vineyard.
And former President George W. Bush spent 100 days at home on his Texas ranch during his entire tenure.
Biden’s Delaware beach home has made the news before when he fell off his bicycle in front of reporters in 2022.
This time it looks like the President will spend most of his time lying on the beach relaxing while his constituents across the nation struggle to feed their families.
