Rock and roll and pop music are two genres that usually have very different fans.

These two styles of music stay in their respective lanes most of the time.

But a famous rock star just ripped Taylor Swift after claiming she doesn’t play live.

Dave Grohl slams Taylor Swift on stage

Foo Fighters head honcho Dave Grohl took a jab at Taylor Swift during a recent concert in London, England.

The lead singer and guitarist for the band suggested that Swift doesn’t put on real live performances.

“We were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier,” Grohl said to his fans at the recent Foo Fighters show.

“I know that she’s on her Eras Tour. I’m telling you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift,” he said.

Grohl is also the former drummer for the iconic grunge rock band Nirvana.

He continued to joke about his current band and said that they were on the “errors tour.”

He said he and his bandmates make mistakes when they perform live because they’re actually playing instruments during each show.

“So, we like to call our tour the Errors Tour, because I feel like we’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f****** errors as well. Just a couple. That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying, We’re a live band,” he said to fans.

“You guys like raw, live rock and roll music, right? You came to the right f****** place,” Grohl shouted.

There is no real known feud between Swift and Grohl, but some fans suspect that he took a swipe at Swift after his 17-year-old daughter was harassed by some Swifties when she criticized the pop star for using private planes.

There are some instances when Swift will pull out a guitar or sit at a piano to play live instruments during her concerts.

However, unlike Grohl and the rest of the Foo Fighters, most of her live concerts involve her dancing on stage rather than playing a musical instrument.

Swift responded to the comments

Not surprisingly, Taylor Swift decided to respond to Grohl’s comments.

During one of her own concerts in London, she acknowledged all of the people who play live instruments for her while she performs for fans on stage.

“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much, and so does every one of my fellow performers,” Swift said.

Some Foo Fighters fans were disappointed in Grohl’s behavior and took to social media to express their confusion.

“Dave Grohl is the last artist I expected that from,” one fan wrote on X. “He’s usually so kind, positive, and a good force in the music industry, feeling disappointed.”

Ironically, Grohl declared that he was “officially obsessed” with Taylor Swift in 2015.
