Social media and Big Tech have gone the extra mile to shut down conservative voices.

They even censored Donald Trump when he was the sitting President.

But Tucker Carlson just became a major target of the Left after Instagram issued this insane warning.

Mark Zuckerberg’s Instagram platform has apparently decided they don’t want users following Tucker Carlson.

No real reason, just more censorship of conservative voices

But the social media giant hasn’t indicated precisely why people shouldn’t follow Carlson.

It’s just one more piece of evidence that Big Tech is trying to muzzle all conservative voices in an effort to once again change the election results.

Tucker Carlson is one of the most popular conservative commentators in America.

He has more than 3.7 million followers on Instagram and nearly 13 million followers on X.

But according to Ashton DeGroot, Blaze Media’s social media content coordinator, following Carlson is no easy feat on the Meta-owned Instagram.

In fact, a recent search for Carlson on Instagram failed to find his verified account.

Instead, the results were flooded with impersonators and fan accounts.

After multiple attempts to locate Carlson’s account, it became apparent that his verified account would only show up if his exact handle, @TuckerCarlson, was entered.

After finally finding Carlson’s account, DeGroot found that Instagram put up a warning urging any prospective Carlson followers to reconsider.

“Are you sure you want to follow Tucker Carlson?”

Instagram’s pop-up warning said “are you sure you want to follow Tucker Carlson?”

But that’s not all.

It also stated that “his account has repeatedly posted false information that was reviewed by independent fact-checkers or it went against our Community Guidelines.”

Not surprisingly, Blaze News did not find any similar warning messages when trying to follow the accounts of various left-wing personalities and organizations.

For example, despite its well-documented falsehoods, there is no such warning for potential followers of Newsweek.

Just last month, Newsweek falsely reported that Tucker Carlson had partnered with a Russian state-owned news channel.

The actual truth was that the Russian-owned outlet had used footage of Carlson’s without legal permission.

And Instagram users will not see any warnings when attempting to follow well-known hoaxster Jussie Smollett, who repeatedly lied about being attacked by Trump supporters in Chicago.

DeGroot told Blaze News that “I have never seen this warning before on any account. I was following a lot of people for [a Blaze Media account], and out of the 100+ that I followed, Tucker was the only one for whom this came up.”

People are on to this

Neil Patel, co-founder and CEO of the Tucker Carlson Network, told Blaze News that “Tucker has one of the largest audiences in all of media. Millions of people rely on him because they know he’s trying his best to tell the truth.”

“This combination of scale and independence is a serious threat to established power,” Patel continued. “That is the only reason why people can’t even go to a Tucker Carlson birthday post on Instagram without some insane warning.”

“Luckily, people are on to this,” Patel added, before pointing out that Carlson’s fans have chosen to sidestep “Big Tech censors” like Instagram and instead go straight to his website.
