Don Lemon is the poster child for Trump Derangement Syndrome in the mainstream media.

Since that schtick doesn’t sell as well as it used to, he’s now being forced to explore new options.

And shocking proof just emerged that exposes how deranged Don Lemon can be.

Don Lemon has had a rough couple of years after more than 15 years on CNN

Don Lemon joined the CNN team in 2006 as a field anchor and quickly moved into a prominent primetime role in the studio. 

The journalist spent much of his career championing the Left and pushing the standard race-baiting lies about Republicans and Donald Trump.

But his spot in primetime television was taken from him in 2022 when CNN decided to shift his presence into a role on This Morning. 

Lemon didn’t last long on the program and was ousted shortly after describing Presidential candidate Nikki Haley as “past her prime.”

Lemon was finally fired by CNN on April 24, 2023, and it left him contemplating a new career in the independent media space. 

Tucker Carlson had been fired at Fox News on the same day and he made an immediate splash by launching his show on the social media platform X.

Earlier this year, Lemon followed suit.

Lemon announced he was back “bigger, bolder, freer”

“I’ve heard you . . . and today I am back bigger, bolder, freer!” Lemon wrote on social media. 

The new show would be called The Don Lemon Show and he planned to make it “available to everyone, easily, whenever and wherever you want it.”

Lemon said that his show would be hosted on social media platforms “where the conversations are happening.” 

“And you’ll find it first on X, the biggest space for free speech in the world,” he continued in the post. 

The journalist slammed the “hall monitors” in the mainstream media and expressed gratitude for having “a place for honest debate and discussion.”

Tucker Carlson spread the news by calling the developing media environment proof of a “new world.” 

“Congratulations . . . [and] Welcome” he said to Lemon on the platform.

But Lemon’s tenure at X was short lived, and now his contract with the platform is being made public.

Lemon wanted to be the “first podcast in space”

Now Lemon is being exposed for his outrageous demands of X and the current owner, Elon Musk. 

Lemon insisted that he expected to be “the first podcast in space” and receive a free Tesla Cyber Truck if he were to sign on with an exclusive deal on Musk’s platform. 

The journalist also wanted influence and equity in the social media platform. 

In a letter of intent published by the Daily Mail, Lemon demanded “X to consult with [him] when making decisions related to News content [and] any policy changes re: content.”

The journalist also demanded the platform give him a $5 million annual advance on potential earnings through advertisements associated with his show, plus a $10 million market plan each year. 

The news comes shortly after Musk and Lemon traded barbs in a viral interview, leaving many to accuse Musk of backing down from his proposal for absolute free speech.

But Musk said that Lemon is still “free to upload his show to X and will receive advertising revenue.”

The defunct anchor will simply not get any support from them.
