And a co-host from The View just hinted at the Democrats’ next pathetic attempt to keep Trump from office.
Rough week for Democrats
On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled that Colorado could not disqualify Trump from the ballot under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
The Justices added that an “evolving electoral map could dramatically change the behavior of voters, parties, and States across the country, in different ways and at different times.”
Democrat politicians in blue states were saddened that the Supreme Court wouldn’t let them unilaterally suspend the very democracy that they claim their political opponents are trying to steal.
The High Court’s decision was a bitter pill, but Democrats aren’t going to abide by something as dangerous to democracy as allowing the public to have their say at the ballot box.
And what better place for someone to let that cat out of the bag than on a show that marries woke corporatism with incessant left-wing clucking?
Sunny Hostin of The View made her case against Trump.
Hostin said Democrats in Congress could use Section 3 of the 14th Amendment against Trump because he allegedly “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”
Of course, Trump has never been charged by any court of doing such a thing.

Hostin said Tuesday that “the Supreme Court yesterday said that what’s going to matter for an insurrectionist is that Congress has to pass legislation. Donald Trump is insulated from any of these court cases unless Congress acts. Congress is up for grabs, as you [Alyssa Farah Griffin] will admit. Republicans have a razor slim majority. Californians, please, go out and vote for those Democrats, give the House and Congress to the Democrats and you will see Donald Trump go down. That has to be the plan.”
Jaime Raskin (D-MD) said Monday that Congressional Democrats are working on legislation to disqualify Trump from executive office as an insurrectionist.
Desperate maneuvering just shows that leftists are worried
As Raskin said on CNN’s Inside Politics with Dana Bash, “the question is whether Speaker Mike Johnson would allow us to bring this to the floor of the House.”
There’s no universe where Speaker Johnson, who endorsed Donald Trump for President back in November, would allow a Democrat bill with the express purpose of railroading Trump be brought to the floor for a vote.
What Hostin really fears is that Biden and the Democrats will likely lose to Trump and Congressional Republicans in a fair and free election because the past three years have been a complete and total failure in nearly every aspect of public policy.
The harder they try to rig the game, the worse they look to the American people.
Results matter.
And Democrat politicians and their media allies have every reason to be afraid.
