The server in Charlotte was left speechless when a man showed up with an inflatable date.
“I’m not supposed to be making TikToks at work, but this calls for it,” she said.
The camera panned to a man who was sitting at a table for two with the blow-up doll.
Sitting in front of the doll was a glass of champagne.
The server’s video racked up over 2.5 million views and left people in the comments laughing out loud.
People wanted to know where she got her dress
The man from the video posted his own point of view about his inflatable date.
But it didn’t take long for him to lock his account down so people would stop commenting.

At the beginning of the video, the man showed the doll slouching back in its seat while they looked over the menu together.
It included a photo of him from the doll’s point of view and a wide shot showing them “eating” their meals.
In case you’re wondering, the inflatable doll had a salad while he had a burger.
Apparently, the doll needed to watch its figure.
People joked in the comments about her dinner choice, where she got her outfit, and how surprised he must be that everyone knows who he is and where he lives.
The doll was in fact wearing a real dress.
The man may have expected this to go viral.
But one thing happened that he didn’t expect.
Server says she is “ready for new opportunities”
The server was eventually outed for having created the TikTok video while at work.
In an interview on the radio station 96.1, the woman identified herself as Tara.
Eventually The Charlotte Observer reached her for comment and she explained exactly what happened after the video went viral.
“[I] knew one of two things was going to happen, it would get no views and I would be fine or, it would blow up and I would be fired,” she said.
Whether it was unfortunate or not, Tara lost her job over the video.
The former server said that she was “shocked” by how viral the video went.
But she said she is “ready for new opportunities.”
The man from the video still hasn’t released a comment.
However, comments on the video indicate that it was because he lost his fantasy football league.
