The corporate-controlled press has been targeting Donald Trump since he first came down the golden escalator in 2015.

They’re pulling out all the stops to try and prevent him from winning a second term.

But Donald Trump took drastic action to finally hold the Fake News Media accountable.

Stephanopoulos is shut down by Nancy Mace over the Trump case

George Stephanopoulos interviewed South Carolina Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) in March and asked about her support for Trump.

The ABC journalist suggested that Trump was guilty of rape and that this should have changed Mace’s opinion about the former President.

“Judges and two separate juries have found him liable for rape. . .how do you square your endorsement of Donald Trump with the testimony we just saw?” Stephanopoulos asked.

Mace, a victim of rape herself, responded with deep personal context.

“I was raped at the age of 16, and any rape victim will tell you, I’ve lived for 30 years with an incredible amount of shame over being raped. I didn’t come forward because of the judgment and shame that I felt,” she said.

She then pushed back and said that she wouldn’t allow him “to shame [her] about another potential rape victim.”

Stephanopoulos showed he knew the truth about the case in 2023

Some Trump supporters may be infuriated by that interview after months of hearing talking heads repeat the same lines.

But others will be even angrier because Stephanopoulos knew that what he said was an outright lie.

In an interview last May with Trump’s accuser, E. Jean Carroll, the ABC journalist asked her directly about the verdict of the rape allegations.

“How about yesterday in the courtroom the first announcement was made, and it was that he was not found liable for rape. What were you thinking at that moment?” he asked Carroll.

Carroll ignored the original question and instead focused on Trump’s liability for defamation and sexual abuse.

The accuser said that it was a “wonderful, overwhelming moment.”

That exchange is now bringing a target over Stephanopoulos and Trump is moving in.

“These statements were and remain false”

Trump’s legal team has now filed a federal lawsuit in Florida against Stephanopoulos, ABC, and ABC News.

The attorneys said the journalist and networks engaged in “actual malice” and that there is proof in the May interview.

“These statements were and remain false and were made by Defendant Stephanopoulos with actual malice or with a reckless disregard for the truth given that the Defendant Stephanopoulos knows that these statements are patently and demonstrably false,” the complaint reads.

The judge in the Carroll case was forced to issue a memo in July following multiple claims by media outlets that Trump had been found guilty of rape.

Judge Kaplan said that “Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law.”

Now Trump and his team are honing in on the interview with Mace by saying that it is time for this oft-repeated lie to be put to rest.

Trump’s lawsuit against ABC and Stephanopoulos is a warning shot to all media personalities who continue these public attacks.
