One advocacy group just blew the lid on the horrifying reality at some of America’s favorite brands

There’s a deep-rooted problem developing in America that could destroy the fabric of society.

The only thing that can save the country is to expose this evil to every member of the public.

And one advocacy group just blew the lid on the horrifying reality at some of America’s favorite brands.

Advocacy group is exposing “mainstream entities” for child abuse and exploitation

In 2013, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCSE) began a campaign to shine a light on major corporations and federal legislation that is enabling the horrific sex trafficking industry.

Each year they highlight “twelve mainstream entities for facilitating, enabling, and even profiting from sexual abuse and exploitation.”

They previously exposed disgusting policies by the likes of Google, Netflix, TikTok, and even the U.S. Department of Defense.

They recently released their list for 2024 and it covers eleven of the most popular names in the Big Tech space.

Companies like Apple, Cash App, LinkedIn, Meta, and Reddit all made the lists as companies pushing “problematic policies” that enable sexual exploitation.

The one outlier was a piece of legislation that people on both sides of the aisle have been asking to reform for years.

Section 230 provides protection for companies that “facilitate and profit from horrors”

Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (CDA) was signed into law in the late 1990’s and it allowed for social media companies to grow without having to worry about what their users are posting online.

It essentially gives them immunity from any legal action that results from content published on their platforms.

According to the NCSE website, the CDA was meant to be a “shield” for young people online and provide them protections from “pernicious elements lurking on the burgeoning internet.”

But the NCSE said that tech companies have since used it to protect themselves instead of their users.

“It is apparent that this measured shield intended to protect innovation has become an impenetrable fortress for social media giants and online platforms, even when their very business models facilitate and profit from horrors — sex trafficking and child sexual abuse material,” they said.

The NCSE is doing everything it can to expose this flaw and the companies that are exploiting it.

Roblox, Reddit, and Apple are bringing our children into an online nightmare

The advocacy group said that America’s favorite computer company, Apple, has a “rotten” record for protecting children against sexual exploitation online.

The NCSE said the company “hosts dangerous apps with deceptive age ratings and descriptions, and won’t default to safety features for teens.”

Reddit is one of the most popular sites on the internet today and it describes itself as a place where you can “dive into anything.”

The NCSE warned that it’s also a hub for “child sex abuse material, sex trafficking, and image-based sexual abuse” that is hidden in “plain sight.”

Roblox is a popular social platform that focuses on younger audiences and promises to “empower people to create their own immersive experiences.”

Unfortunately, the NCSE said the company is treating “child protection like a game.”

Roblox allows “adult strangers to direct message, chat, and ‘friend’ children on their site,” which can lead to solicitation of minors.

The “Dirty Dozen” list goes deep into a nightmare scenario for our children that needs to be brought to heel.

These companies are out of control and their business models thrive on the exploitation of minors.
