The Radical Left has infiltrated every educational institution in America.
It sometimes feels impossible to even find a doctor who hasn’t been captured by their left-wing ideologies.
But this Texas doctor is standing defiantly against a Department of Justice probe over allegations of child abuse at the hospital.
Texas shuts down gender-affirming care for minors by labeling it “child abuse”
Radical ideologues on the Left have been trying to capture the minds of young Americans and convince them that their gender is fluid and can be changed on demand.
But conservatives have been pushing back on the surgeries and drugs that they use to do it.
The issue is being challenged at the state level and some lawmakers are taking it more seriously than others.
In February of 2022, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton released a report that said that so-called gender affirming care was tantamount to “child abuse,” which prompted Governor Greg Abbott to take major action.
Abbott issued an executive order directing state agencies to investigate anyone who pushes the dangerous practice and to consider Paxton’s legal position.
This resulted in the Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) announcing that they would “pause” their “gender-affirming services” in order to “safeguard” their staff and the families of trans-identifying children.
Doctor stands up and makes himself “potential target” in “political investigation”
Last year, a physician by the name of Ethan Haim stepped forward and said that he had reason to believe TCH had “secretly continued to perform transgender medical interventions, including the use of implantable puberty blockers, on minor children.”
The allegation from Heim resulted in the passing of SB-14, which criminalized the act, and led to an investigation into the hospital being opened by the Texas Department of Justice.
Just weeks later, federal agents with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) showed up at Haim’s door.
The doctor immediately informed the U.S. Congress of the visit in a letter written to the House Judiciary Committee and the Subcommittee of the Weaponization of the Federal Government.
In the letter, he described the interaction with the HHS agents as “terrifying.”
Haim said it was obvious that this was a “political investigation” in which they saw him as a “potential target” who needed to be subdued.
Haim vows to push back on “evil ideology” no matter the consequences
According to Haim, he was later contacted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Tina Ansari, who saw transgender surgeries as a “last hope” for gender dysphoric individuals.
The prosecutor made it clear that it wasn’t just the doctor who should worry about his future — but also his wife.
Haim’s wife is currently being considered for a role as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and is in the process of undergoing a background investigation.
According to Haim’s lawyers, the prosecutor threatened to inform the agencies tasked with her background check that she was too “difficult.”
But Haim has continued to push back on the “evil ideology” by saying that he’s “not at all” scared of the federal government or their intent to shut him down.
“These people are corrupt and the only way to expose it is to not play into this Kabuki theater, like these people are practitioners of justice,” he told the Christian Post.
Haim said that if he cooperates, the it would be the same as “sanctioning our own destruction.”
