The left-wing media claims Donald Trump’s ideas are wildly unpopular.

But Americans know they are trying to force their radical woke ideologies down their throats.

And a majority of Americans now support Donald Trump’s biggest campaign promise from 2016.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) records over nine-million encounters with illegal immigrants since 2021

According to Pew Research, in 2021 there were at least 10.5 million unauthorized immigrants living in the United States.

That was down from their estimate of 13.7 million in 2018.

But after just three years of Joe Biden in the White House, those numbers are reversing.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has recorded major growth in the number of illegal immigrants crossing the border every year under the Biden administration.

From 2020 to 2021, the number more than tripled from 646,000 to 1,956,000.

Biden campaigned on stopping the border wall construction in 2020 after Donald Trump made it his signature promise in 2016.

That has resulted in a minimum of nine-million total encounters with illegal immigrants since Biden took office.

Now Americans are beginning to think that Trump had the right idea on immigration policies.

More than 8 in 10 Americans see a problem with illegal immigration

Earlier this month, Monmouth University conducted a poll that asked American voters to share their perspective on the worsening conditions at the border.

Patrick Murray, the director of the polling center at Monmouth University, said that he believes “illegal immigration has taken center stage as a defining issue this Presidential Election Year.”

“More than 6 in 10 Americans see illegal immigration as either a very serious (61%) or somewhat serious (23%) problem,” the polling report read.

The polling indicates a major shift in opinion on illegal immigration from prior to Trump’s Presidency.

“The 6 in 10 who describe it as a very serious problem represents a jump from polls taken at the end of former President Barack Obama’s administration to the midpoint of former President Donald Trump’s Term,” the polling memo continued.

Americans are starting to see the need for a solution—and they’re looking at Trump’s policies.

Support for border wall construction hits a near-decade high

According to Murray, other polls at Monmouth have indicated that “Biden’s weakest policy area” is illegal immigration.

But Americans view Trump’s policies as more favorable.

61% of Americans believe that asylum seekers should be forced to wait in Mexico while the courts determine if their requests will be granted.

The study also found that support for the border wall has reached the highest point since 2015.

In 2015, 48% of Americans believed that the United States would benefit from building a border wall.

That number shrunk as low as 35% under Trump.

But support has hit a majority 53% of Americans under the current conditions brought on by the Biden administration.

Only 46% of respondents in the most recent poll said that they disagreed with building a border wall.

If Murray is correct and illegal immigration takes “center stage,” then it could mean a huge victory for Trump in the fall.
