Tulsi Gabbard just called out the Democrats on religious freedom in one big way

Tulsi Gabbard knows where the Democrats have gone wrong because she used to be one of them.

That’s why the political Left opposes her at every turn.

And Tulsi Gabbard just called out the Democrats on religious freedom in one big way.

Tulsi Gabbard was first elected to the Hawaii legislature as a Democrat at the age of 21.

She left that position after 9/11 to serve three deployments overseas in the military.

Once she returned home, she was elected to Congress and served from 2013 to 2021.

She served as Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee before she left the Party in 2022.

Now she’s written a book chronicling her political transformation.

Setting aside any confusion for where she now stands, her book is entitled, For Love of Country: Leave the Democrat Party Behind. 

In the book, she promises to explain in detail all that she sees wrong with the Biden White House and the mistakes in policy and dishonesty coming from it.

Gabbard: Biden’s policies risk a “catastrophic attack occurring on our soil”

On the border, Gabbard said that “the Biden–Harris policies lay out the welcome mat, allowing hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of military-aged males from all over the world to illegally stream into our country, increasing the risk and likelihood of a catastrophic attack occurring on our soil.”

She also doesn’t mince words when it comes to Biden’s handling of the Hamas attack on Israel and the aftermath.

“Unfortunately, President Biden and Democrat leaders refuse to recognize the threat,” she wrote. “Afraid of being labeled Islamophobes, they have become captive to Islamist ideologues and jihadi apologists. Instead of focusing on defeating Islamist jihadists like al-Qaeda, President Biden has instead pursued his hypocritical mission of spreading democracy and defeating ‘dictators,’ ‘autocrats’ and ‘communism’— even as the Biden administration undermines our own democracy and rule of law here at home.”

Gabbard: Democrats reward anti-Christian behavior

But some of Gabbard’s biggest criticisms of her former Party centers around how the Democrats literally reward anti-Christian behavior.

Gabbard recounted how the Obama-Biden administration tried to force a group of Catholic nuns, the Little Sisters of the Poor, to provide contraception to employees in violation of its religious beliefs.

She chastised Kamala Harris for her crusade to keep Brian Buescher off the federal court because he was a member of the Catholic charity Knights of Columbus.

She showed how members of her former political Party are seeking to erase faith from public life, especially Christiniaty. 

She said that in supporting Democrats, even people of faith end up undermining religious freedom.

Since leaving the Democrat Party, Gabbard has become one of the most important voices in the nation. 

She has branded Democrats as an “elitist cabal of warmongers” and is a regular on Fox News.

She has also spoken at a number of Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) events.

Gabbard has even appeared on Trump’s Vice-Presidential shortlist, though some contend that such a prospect is unlikely.

But when it comes to potentially changing the minds of voters, Gabbard brings a unique life experience and her book promises to be an interesting read.
