Over the past few years, we have all sadly come to the realization that literally anything and everything can trigger someone.
You name it and it’s probably triggered someone.
Who remembers when college students with degrees in basket weaving would get triggered by Halloween costumes?
You couldn’t go to a party in anything besides a Leprechaun costume without someone screaming at you that “my culture is not a costume.”
Name the city and you will find many people who get triggered over the sight of the American flag.
But one of the dumbest things people have been triggered about is a chicken sandwich.
Back in 2012, Chick-fil-A was smack dab in the middle of a political debate.
Gay marriage was the hot button issue of the day during that period of time.
Many of the Left were looking to make gay marriage the decisive issue in the 2012 election after Obama came out in support of same sex civil unions.
To the shock of no one, it was revealed that Chick-fil-A donated to groups that opposed gay marriage.
Chick-fil-A is a business that is run by devout Christians.
They exemplify their beliefs in their business model of providing the best customer service possible.
But the story of a Christian fast food chain donating to Christian groups that opposed gay marriage was picked up by the legacy media and rammed down the throats of the American people.
Chick-fil-A found itself in the midst of the biggest fast food boycott in our nation’s history.
But Chick-fil-A weathered the boycott and went on to expand even more across the country.
Chick-fil-A now has a new program that is giving leftists across the country something to gripe and complain about.
Chick-fil-A is in the Left’s crosshairs again
A Chick-fil-A restaurant in Louisiana announced that they will be hosting a summer camp for kids.
For a small fee, kids will learn “dining room host and customer service skills, learn how to take a guest order, learn how to bag a guest order, tour the kitchen and box your own nugget and make your own ice dream cone or cup.”
This seems uncontroversial to the average person, but many leftists online think otherwise.
One person commented by saying, “hey parents! Pay us so we can use your kids for child labor.’ – I fixed your flier.”
Another person wrote on Facebook that “just because it’s the 20’s again doesn’t mean we should bring back child labor. It didn’t go great the last time, spoiler alert.”
