Donald Trump has always loved giving his political opponents nicknames during his campaigns.
Sometimes they come off as a little ridiculous, but other times they hit people where it hurts.
But this may be the best nickname Donald Trump has ever given to a radical Democrat.
Newsom attacks Donald Trump in NBC interview on the state of American politics
Gavin Newsom recently sat down with NBC anchor Kristin Welker where they discussed the state of American politics.
The number one topic of the conversation was the presumptive nominee for the Republican party — Donald Trump.
Welker asked Newsom if Democrats are underestimating the former President and what he thinks will happen in November.
Newsom said Trump has become “more unhinged” since he left office and that he is simply “masquerading” as strong.
“It’s just extraordinary how quickly he is unraveling in real time, including just on basic policy issues like repealing Obamacare,” he said.
Newsom said that the Democrats “continue to win,” before adding that “Donald Trump is a big part of that.”
Welker suggested that voters aren’t happy with Biden and “they’re talking about concerns about his ability to beat Trump.”
Newsom responded by saying he’s “not worried about that.”

Trump hit back hard on Newsom’s record during a speech at Eagle Pass, Texas.
Discussing the state of the border, Trump said “we had the most secure border and people weren’t coming because they knew they weren’t going to get in.”
President Trump went on to point out the Democrat policies that are encouraging the record immigration numbers.
“All the promises that are made. No wonder they come,” he said.
“People are pouring in. They think they’re going to get medical aid, and our soldiers, our vets aren’t being taken care of, but people that come into our country illegally are,” he continued.

Trump said that if you want to see what the Democrats have in store, then all you have to do is look at California.
“You look at what this Governor Newscum from California…what he’s done to California is unbelievable,” Trump said.
And just like that, Newsom has a new nickname.

This isn’t the first time that Trump took aim at the Governor of California.
In his speech at CPAC this year, Trump invited Newsom to replace Biden as the Democrat Party’s nominee.
“A lot of people think Gavin Newsom is going to run. In a certain way, I hope so,” Trump said.
“I’m saying, wait a minute, the place is failing. They don’t have water. They’re notifying people in Beverly Hills you can only use 40 gallons of water,” he said.

President Trump went on to explain that the water rationing in California has led to devastating effects on the state.
“People don’t have water and the farmland is barren,” he said.
