After more than 50 years in entertainment, Dolly Parton is still working as hard as ever.

But even a country music legend has to treat herself sometimes.

And Dolly Parton revealed this meal is her favorite order at a fast food restaurant.

Country music icon Dolly Parton made her first foray into rock music last year when she released her 49th studio album called Rockstar.

At 78 years old, the actress, musician, and businesswoman isn’t slowing down.

Dolly Parton dishes on her fast food favorite

Parton said during a 2016 interview on SiriusXM with Andy Cohen that she and her husband, Carl Dean, love to get fast food when they’re traveling.

“Carl and I have a little camper, a little RV, and we’re always driving through fast-food restaurants to get our stuff,” Parton said. “I’m always in the front seat. Sometimes they know me, sometimes they don’t.”

What really gets under the skin of the singer is when her order is messed up.

“Sometimes I sign autographs on napkins. I don’t mind any of that, but I really get mad if they mess up my order,” Parton remarked.

The country music legend also revealed that she likes to go to Taco Bell on date nights with her husband.

Parton told Business Insider that she has a usual order she makes every time she stops at the Mexican-inspired fast food chain.

“I like soft-shell tacos,” Parton said. “I like the others, but they fall apart so badly, especially if you’re riding around. So I always get a Taco Supreme, with the sour cream and all that, in the soft shell. I love that.”

“I get an order of rice and beans,” Parton added. “And I get mild sauce. I don’t like to get it too hot and ruin everything.”

Parton is also a fanatic for Taco Bell’s cult favorite, the Mexican pizza.

“I was just one of many, many people that had missed them,” Parton exclaimed. “I’d just make them bigger so I could have more of it!”

Mexican Pizza develops a cult-like following

Taco Bell pulled the Mexican Pizza from its menu during the pandemic in 2020 when the chain paired back its offerings.

Nearly 200,000 people signed an online petition to bring it back after it was discontinued.

The cult-like following it developed convinced the chain to bring it back to the menu in 2022.

The Mexican Pizza – taco meat and refried beans stuffed between two tortilla shells topped with cheese, tomatoes, and Mexican pizza sauce – even inspired a musical when it returned to the menu.

Taco Bell released Mexican Pizza: The Musical on TikTok, which was produced by Parton and pop star Doja Cat to celebrate its return.

Dolly Parton is like countless other Taco Bell fans who love to get a Mexican Pizza when they make a run to the border.
