Democrats continually underestimate John Kennedy because of his folksy charm.

But he just walked one of them right into his trap.

And John Kennedy lowered the boom on one Biden official with this epic truth bomb.

Democrats support abortion-on-demand until the moment of birth and sometimes after.

But they try to dodge defending this extremist position when they’re confronted with what limits they would accept on abortion.

John Kennedy presses Biden official on abortion

U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) put Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra on his heels during a Senate hearing.

He used a hypothetical scenario of a healthy mother and a healthy baby a day before birth to walk him into a trap.

“Mr. Secretary, if the mother is healthy and the baby is healthy, do you really support abortion of the baby up to the moment of birth?” Kennedy asked.

“Senator, let me make sure — to the moment of birth? You’re saying after gestation, the 40 weeks?” Becerra sputtered.

“Let’s suppose — suppose it’s the day before the due date and the baby is fully formed and the baby is healthy and the mother is healthy, do you support aborting — the right to abort the baby then?” Kennedy questioned.

Democrats try to claim that late-term abortions never happen.

“I’ve heard no one say that,” Becerra said.

He pivoted to saying he supports reestablishing Roe v. Wade

Kennedy uses Biden official’s words against him

Kennedy read to Becerra a statement that he made in 2020 on abortion

“No government, state or federal, has the right to make decisions for a woman about her body or her health care,” Becerra said in 2020.

“Your words, not mine,” Kennedy said. “I ask you again, up to the moment of birth, if the mother’s healthy and the baby’s healthy, do you believe that there should be the right to abort that baby up to the moment of birth?”

Becerra fell back on saying he supports Roe and claimed that no one is arguing in favor of abortion until the moment of birth.

“I want your answer,” Kennedy fired back. “Roe v. Wade has been overturned. I want your answer.”

Becerra continued to dodge the question as Kennedy grilled him.

U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) continued to press him by pointing out that several states allow abortion until the moment of birth.

“There’s seven states in this country, and the District of Columbia, that allow you to take the life of a child the moment before a child is born, so clearly you support a woman’s right to choose to do that?” Britt asked.

Becerra claimed that her example was “fiction.”

“If it actually is fiction, then why not say no?” Britt asked. “That that is out of the realm of possibility?”

Democrats support abortion on demand until the moment of birth, but refuse to admit it because they realize it’s an extremist position.
