When it comes to enthusiasm for the Democrat Party’s Presidential candidate, there is ample evidence that it’s not 2008 anymore.
Democrat pundits and Hollywood elites are starting to panic.
And Taylor Swift was just shown how desperate the Democrats are with one pathetic request from Rob Reiner.
Democrats are in a bind.
The heady days of 2008 when Barack Obama was able to draw tens of thousands of people for his speeches are long gone.
By all available measures, the public isn’t really into Joe Biden.
In contrast, Biden’s Republican rival, Donald Trump, routinely draws tens of thousands of people to his campaign rallies.
While crowd sizes alone don’t determine eventual votes on Election Day, they are good proxies for measuring voter enthusiasm.
And on that score, Donald Trump handily beats Biden.
Knowing that Biden desperately needs a boost, actor, director, and Democrat sycophant Rob Reiner is now pathetically turning to Taylor Swift to gin up support for his campaign among the whippersnappers.
Reiner: “I’d give anything for [Taylor Swift] to endorse Joe Biden. She would virtually single handedly save American Democracy”
In a social media post, Reiner wrote that “I’m in the midst of shooting a sequel to This is Spinal Tap. As much as I’d like Taylor Swift to do a cameo in the film, I’d give anything for her to endorse Joe Biden. She would virtually single handedly save American Democracy.”

After endorsing Biden four years ago, Swift has so far remained uncharacteristically silent on the 2024 Presidential election.
America’s youth are now disillusioned with Biden
With Biden’s approval ratings routinely below 40%, Swift has to know that endorsing him could prove problematic since so many young fans of hers have soured on the President.
Reiner seems to have signed on to the latest Democrat tactic of equating Biden with “democracy,” implying that any politician standing in opposition to Biden is somehow seeking to undermine it.
But their ploy is not working.
Biden is currently behind Donald Trump in national polling and fares even worse in a multi-candidate field.
More importantly, Biden is losing to Trump in the latest polling of the all-important swing states.
Worse yet, recent polling conducted by the New York Times revealed that 73% of voters believe Biden is too old to be an effective President.
This was backed up by a recent Quinnipiac poll that showed 67% of voters believe Biden is too old to serve a second term.
Reiner may convince the popular singer to go all in for Biden, but actors and musicians endorsing Democrats are hardly new and rarely move the needle.
